Bayonetta (The Game)

I'd buy a wonderful 102 anyday. A really underrated game. And dat final act man. Gurren Lagann the game.

Asuras Wrath's final act is more Gurren Lagann ish, but yeah, The Wonderful 101 is fantastic.

If he did make a wonderful 102, I'd see the final act scaling up higher as much Veiwtiful joe 2's final act did in comparison to the first one. In the first one, The Final mech fight had 6x6 majin be big enough to take a few laps around earth, while in 2, Great 6x6 Majin was big enough that his fist was the size of a continent and the mecha he fought just a tad smaller then the sun, and you fought sun dragons that came out of it.

okay now i guess I'm going to need more tissues for another reason than the cold I got and is making me sneeze like crazy.

Who will be the Tagalong Kid this time? A clone of Luka? Maybe a time-travelling Rodin?

I get the feeling that this game will be darker than the rest so there likely won't be a tagalong kid this time.

I've heard people say Bayo 3 comes out this year, but we've only seen the teaser so far, am I missing something?

Bayonetta 1 had us fight the Goddess of Light while escorting a younger Bayonetta. Then Bayonetta 2 swapped both out for entities aligned with Chaos. That means we still haven't had a Light child and Dark deity. Given this I'm guessing Bayonetta 3 will involve child Balder and Queen Sheba.

I still feel that 3 will involve defeating the ruler of Inferno, given how the previous games had you kill the rulers of Paradiso and Purgatorio.

Yeah, some upstart demon who tries to take the throne and either eliminate the witches or press them into full-time slaves to conquer the world of the humans. Or something.

There will be a chapter in Bayo 3 that repeats the title "Inferno and its ruler" from Bayo 2.

Do you get the first game for free if you buy 2? Or is that only for physical copies?

Digitally 2 should be $50 while 1 is $30. Buying one will reduce the price of the other so that the total price is $60.

Well, I can now Bayo on the go. Was going to skip straight to 2 since I think it's better, but I decided to give 1 a shot again. Feels more fun now that I have an okay grasp on the combat system. Especially while using the Daisy costume. Not looking forward to the minigames, but I'll deal with those when I get there.

Beat the prologue of 1. Still getting used to the combat, but it's fun.

VA work is also top notch.

Beat the first(?) boss at the fountain in Chapter 1 (Beloved, I think?). I actually kicked the thing's ass and successfully Witch Timed against it a bunch. Pretty good since I'm playing on Normal.

Really enjoying this game so far.

Beloveds are Mini Bosses.

The first one you face is presented as a boss, if I remember correctly.

How are you supposed to get through the metal door in Chapter 2? I know Witch Time is involved, but a text box always stops me from continuing even when I break it down during it.

There should be witch time puzzle statues like the ones in chapter one. Do that, and you should be able to break it.

Yeah. The door re-assembles too fast, so you need to slow time.

I've been doing that.

The game's not letting me through anyway.

Have you attempted to break the door without Witch Time active? Maybe there's some strange tutorial event flag I didn't know about.
