I haven't updated to the new patch yet, so it shouldn't matter. T Edit doesn't seem to save the changes to the map when I click on any of the save buttons.

All my experience with this game, and corruption/crimson spread still makes me nervous about breaking into Hardmode on a world.

I'm doing Expert mode on a large world, if that's incredibly relevant.

[up][up]Your problem sounds oddly familiar to something I had at first when using it. My memory is foggy, but it's either that T Edit is reading the wrong map files (i.e. the temporary backup copies the game always makes of your progress) or that you're using the wrong save setting.

Also, I took a look at the page for T Edit, and there is a mention of a similar bug. You might want to read it here.

@Kyler: Time to partition your world with tunnels galore to limit the Biome overspilling.

[up][up]yes, I saw that. I'm already following it.

The game is also not playing worlds that I made with the editor. Thankfully, it's not a total loss. I've managed to use to to finally find my Blizzard in a bottle, so now I have quadruple jump.

[up][up]Yup, prep is key. My jungle was in a bit of a tough spot, so I got to play bomberman for a bit before initiating HM.

The large world probably gives you more leeway. A lot of the mechanics don't really change between small and large worlds. For reference, I did a group server with my friends where we kept some auto-farms going at times, so the map was running for long hours. Over about two weeks of play with no biome control at all (since we started the map on hard mode with brand new characters), the Jungle was only vaguely being threatened by Corruption at that point. That is, the Corruption was only starting make its way into the outermost borders. We did some very minor segregating and that was enough to last us until we finished all the content. This is consistent with the other dozen or so runs (completely new characters, completely new map, with no external resources brought in) I've done. Biome creep is often very overstated.

In the rare cases where it does become a problem, enough time should have passed for the player to acquire the Clentaminator, which completely destroys Corruption/Crimson.

You know how shift-click is either "put item into container" or "put item into trash" depending on if you have a container open?

I just lost all the orichalcum I got from my fishing crates this way.

I've done that a couple times, though with stuff that's not quite as valuable. Now I watch the trash can to make sure stuff isn't accidentally going there, although the "Stack All" (I think that's the name) command eventually made it so I very rarely even had to do that.

I seem to be stuck on the mechanical bosses. I'm trying to defeat the Destroyer first since that seems to be the one I can most easily cheat out of a fair fight, but even if I build an arena high enough that the Destroyer can't reach, the probes still manage to kill me.

Do you have the Daedalus Stormbow? That's what did the trick for me the first time I beat the Destroyer.

If not that, yoyos are still pretty obscene and let you use a melee set to increase its damage output, so it should get you good survivability at the same time (Titanium's set bonus is godly).

Anything that pierces and does decent damage will rekt the Destroyer even after the rebalance buff.

You could try Flails, like the Dao of Pow. Fragmenting weapons (Crystal Bullets) are a great alternative, as are Hellfire arrows (or Unholy/Jester arrows if you run out) fired from a Hardmode Metal Repeater.

If you want to try it, I think even post-nerf the Molotov Cocktails still do reasonable additive DOT damage to the Destroyer with splashy explosions and spreading fire damage.

You'll need souls of Sight and Night but the Magical Harp will RUIN the Destroyer quickly if you have walls to bounce the notes off.

Advice: Stay away from direct contact with the Destroyer's head.

At this point, it's not the Destroyer itself I'm worried about. I just toss a pair of Nimbus Rod clouds off the sides of the arena to catch the Destroyer as it passes underneath. I just need to deal with the probes.

I suppose I could try switching to the Titanium armor for better defense. I've been using Orichalcum in an attempt to just kill it faster, but that's apparently not working out for me.

Did you build a vertical arena with solid walls? Solid walls block probe shots.

The last one I tried was a tiny little pit about a dozen blocks off the side of a cloud. I suppose the problem there was that the probes were just ramming me directly since they can apparently pass through walls, and I didn't give myself any space to dodge.

So, I've got Terraria (mobile) for 2 weeks, and I love it. Have a question though: My exploring map suddenly stop at certain point on underground jungle, and I can't get past that, although the minimap shows I'm not that far into left side yet. Is this normal?

I'm not familiar with the mobile version, but: do you mean like you're at the edge of the world? You can find the oceans on the surface, which are the borders of the world, so see if you can get to the one on that side.

Pretty sure it's a glitch, because the Jungle biomes almost never reach the edge of the game world, either above or below ground.

[up][up] It was reaching the ocean biome on ground level, but hasn't yet see the sea. The map on underground continue a bit more, but not yet reach the end of minimap.

[up]This happen often? Can it be fixed?

I believe that's the jungle temple, you need some good gear to get in there but you can go around.

Oh yes, that is a possibility. Is there a wall of orange bricks in the way?

I think IOS had a bug where they "forget" to generate an ocean on one side of the map (sometimes comes with a huge cave underneath where it is supposed to be), could be that too if they haven't fixed it.

Mine Android. Not IOS. And no, no orange brick. The map and the screen just abruptly stop,

Yep, it's a glitch then. I've never ran into that issue while on the PC.
