And then almost immediately after drowned, if he somehow survived the explosions. 'Tis satisfactory, in my book.
Reading through some past strips, I remembered something - what was that glowy effect Quigley seemed to summon from his glasses before that (mockery of a) duel with Duane? Was that some kind of customary ritual before a duel or something?
I think it was some sort of vision augmentation.
IIRC, his glasses are modified to let him see khert lines.

Annnd, we're back. Well, a title page and then one page after that. But yes
The last thing you hear before an unstoppable juggernaut bisects you with a minigun. That was a long hiatus.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Huh catching up on the comic. Starfish sure looks dead
Bout friggin time.
Yeah, Ashley just killed off most of the villains at the end of last chapter, so that's why we got a new one on Monday.
Unsounded has always seemed one of those stories where a single villain isn't big enough to drive the plot.
Also Bastion with that Howl look.
I keep forgetting how the political plot in this comic is great. All those 200 pages fighting the red tentacles thing made me forget it.
But now the conspiracy is back.
Sette is almost starting to turn into a heroine.
A religious fundamentalist developing independent thinking.
That's beautiful.

I'd say he's more very devout. Though that depends on your definition of fundamentalism.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Yeah, he's not a fundamentalist or anything. From the flashbacks I gathered that, if anything, he's way more casual about his religion than others. He just sincerely believes in his religion.
Okay I probably used the wrong word. But he had never been interested in questioning his religion or trying to figure things out by himself. Now he is. And I think that's beautiful.
I don't think it's his religion he is questioning, just what exactly happened to him and why.

If anything his faith has improved. He was a borderline Nay-Theist before.
Towards the Gefendur, though.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.I dunno, "God exists, and I'm on his shit-list" sounds a bit misotheistic to me.
Well, it also has an "And there's nothing to be done about it because that's just my lot in unlife :D D:" appended.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.
Well, he died in a fire. What more could we ask for?
