Also, I've had the Future Connected DLC for some time now, but I haven't gotten to playing it yet due to focusing on finishing Age of Calamity.

It reminds me I still haven't played XBC 1 yet either. I started the franchise with X.

I miss everything about X, especially the Skells, sprinting, and Overdrive. X is the reason I still have a used Wii U, just so I can play it again.

Still no word of a Switch port for X. At this point, it's safe to assume it just isn't gonna happen. Hopefully, it'll make it onto Nintendo's next console.

Monolith Soft/ Takahashi was pretty blunt years ago about a Switch port of X not being in the cards due to the cost it would entail.

Switch 2 Definitive Edition in lead up to an X2 has been my hope for a while now, especially after how much of 3 and FR felt like a spiritual love letter to X fans not to mention the all bombs dropped at the end of FR for the Xeno franchise as a whole

Do we have a release year for the Switch 2 yet? I think it's likely that Monolith could be handling a launch title, though I'd estimate their next Xeno game won't come out until 2027 or so.

No, there's no date. I suspect it's 2025 but that's a personal guess.

Switch 2 has been speculated to be just around the corner for years, but if I'm not mistaken there have been leaks in the past year that devs have gotten access to dev kits. Dunno how reliable the sources on said leaks are, however.

A lot of it is also people looking at the past two Directs and saying that Nintendo is giving us the dregs (remakes, remasters, and lower tier games) because they are working on what's next.

Reminder that the biggest Nintendo first-party releases that we know of for this year are Princess Peach Showtime and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door remake.

Even outside of those, the only two other titles we know are coming to Switch are Legends Z-A sometime 2025 and Prime 4.... sometime.

Honestly, the current slate of Switch releases (excluding the Peach game) is a Fire Emblem away from echoing the last few releases on 3DS, but that is getting a bit off-topic from Xenoblade discussions.

Anyhow, I hope a X Definitive Edition does come to the Switch Successor, as I want to see Mira in a similar style as the Switch releases

As someone who played the entire Xenoblade trilogy (barring the DLC stories for 2 and 3 due to not having much money on my eShop), I'm really hope X does come to either the Switch or its successor. Especially with the connections that FC made with it.

Alright. finally back on 3 after slacking off for months trying to do other stuff.

Recruited Ino and am working on her stuff as we speak. The hardest part is getting back into the swing of how to do things.

Will try the other stuff (Future Redeemed, the other Hero) later.

And now Masha is recruited. I also got Noah up to level 10 for Noponic champion while also recruiting Masha.

Now I'll continue to level up others in Noponic while also working on Lapadarist and collecting more high ether.

Fortunately, I remembered that using Unlimited Sword when your levels are a bit lower than your opponents means they die and you rank and level up fast. Ho ho ho!

Anyway, once I've done a bit with both classes, I'll hit the .....I can't remember the name of the place, but it's the same as that place in 2 where you meet Fiora and Shulk.

Alright. Goth Mio to Rank 10 in Lapidarist, and now I've unlocked her ascension quest.

I'm gonna continue to give everyone both her and Ino's class, while I do the latter's Ascension Quest and then the former. It's gonna be a lot of long hard work....fortunately, I can just have Noah Unlimited Sword everything into oblivion.

Except in the Land of Challenge from what I can tell, since you can use Doom on anything there. On that note, I finally went into the Land of Challenge. Huzzah.

So, I think that's it for everything I can do post game in the main campaign. All I got to do is finish it up and I can move on to Future Redeemed. Maybe do New Game Plus for both afterwards, and then, 3 is done.

I didn't feel there was much reason to do NG+ in 3 because there is no "plus". You get to carry over your inventory+classes and redo the story, is all. Of course if you want to see the story again, by all means enjoy.

The Land of Challenge is where most of the interesting postgame content is, if that's what you're after.

Ino's Ascension Question completed. Now all that's let is Masha's.

Ranking everyone up will take time though.

Finished Masha's Ascension Quest, got everyone up to Rank twenty in both Noponic Champion and Lapadarist, then maxed out Inoswap.

Now I'm finally doing the Challenge battles. Sticking with Time attack for now.

But once I'm done with this, all that will be left is Future Redeemed.

Then I'm done with Aionios until I either decide to replay it, or they make the next game.

Bah. Got my first C rank (I've mostly gotten S's with just one or two A's) in the Land of Challenge.

I killed N and M in Time attack, but it took too long.

I'll have to come back to that again for the reward (though I've gotten all the bath suit alternate costumes, and now it's just items).

I'm just annoyed I was that slow.

And now I'm doing the Archsage Gauntlet.

Since I'm not on hard THE TIME IS NOW again and again and again.

I'm plowing through enemies and I've almost got a full party. In fact, I had to put it on sleep since I don't actually know how to stop.

How do you stop? Besides dying that is?

If there is, I would like to know, especially for time attack. There are times where I know I screwed up and just letting my party die takes too long.

I ended up just completing the first one.

Got both Lanz and Sena's classic costumes (so Reyn and Bridghid).

In the meantime, I decided it's time to redeem some futures. Just finished Chapter 1.

Interesting stuff so far. I've been spoiled on a few details, but some of it I've forgotten and the rest, I've deliberately avoided, so I'm pretty fresh.

Matthew is as different from Noah as Lora was from Rex. I like him. Especially his Punch Moebius strategy. I want to use A's Talent Art more often, but I haven't gotten many opportunities to try yet.

Considering that A's Talent Art has limited uses and barely gets anymore from Affinity Growth, it's best used as an Emergency Button, just like how the AI uses it.

Matthew and the Martial Artist class from the main game play pretty much the same, except Matthew has a Break art and their talent arts are different.

It's been a year since Future Redeemed came out now, and sadly I've yet to start it.

I 100% planned on playing it by now, I'd even set myself a goal of playing it by the 1 year mark like I did with finishing off Xenoblade 3.

But unfortunately I got very busy unexpectedly two months ago right when I was going to start playing Future Redeemed before moving into FC. So yeah, so no progress made.

Honestly its totally on me being too much of a perfectionist about trying to find the perfect time when my schedule is all clear because I really love the franchise and didn't want to get interrupted and end up with breaks mid game like what happened to me with XBC 3...
