The High Entia have very advanced genetic and biological technology based on what we see in the Tomb and Lorithea's research so they might have simply been able to grow back all the necessary parts using his DNA as a basis. And even if they couldn't make an exact replica of him they might've still been able to make a similar-looking stock body with reference from his daughter Desiree.
What I'm more surprised by is that they seemingly didn't use it to fix Dunban's arm despite his Monado wounds seemingly being a lot less severe in comparison.
She wasn't turned into a Machina, she just has metal prosthetics which operate similarly to Machina biology. Stuff like Mumkhar's hollow torso and the Speed Frame's obvious signs of being artificial skin mimetics (things like bolts, stitch lines, and barcodes on the "fleshy" parts) indicate the current generation of Homs converted to Face Mechon don't keep all that much more, mostly their head and spine and maybe their torso if there was even anything left of that portion to recover from her corpse. With Xord you do have to also grow back his eyes, teeth, skull and so on, but considering just how much they were able to regenerate for Fiora (including a fully-functioning reproductive system that continued to be active into her mid-30s) it's not unreasonable.

Dunban would be one of those people who would be fine with dealing with his injury for the rest of his life.
As for Xord, it would likely just take much longer than Fiona, and whether they would need to transfer his organs to the machine or if his Face unit would even fit inside the machine.

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Maybe Xord doesn't want to go back to being a normal homs
Silence is golden, noise is platinum. Keelah se'lai"Muahaha! Why would I want to go back to a weak fleshy body when I have an immortal mechanical shell!?"
"Actually, you've got, like, six months left to live in that body. Tops."
"What?"
"You thought the racist explicitly using you as a slave soldier cared about your lifespan?"
Funny as that scenario sounds, I doubt Egil would've designed Faced Mechon to be that self-defeating. He never truly hated Homs; just Zanza.
Orcus on His Throne will always be my pet peeve.I actually never considered this until now. Would the two worlds have collided even if Zanza was never defeated? The most that Nia says in her story is that the worlds were destined to fuse back together; no mention of if killing Zanza and the Architect fading from existence were the catalyst for them coming back together. Sure, she never witnessed it, but Melia could've caught her up to speed. If it's the case, it makes me further question how Origin works, since the world of Xenoblade 1 isn't the first incarnation of it due to how many times Zanza rebooted it.
Orcus on His Throne will always be my pet peeve. From what I understand, the disappearance of the Zohar was at least a significant catalyst for the two worlds coming back together. Most likely, even if Shulk and his friends didn't defeat Zanza first, Zanza would've lost his power and influence over the world once the Zohar vanished. But Shulk as the new Driver of Ontos did have significant influence in priming the post-Zanza world of the Bionis and its technology/society in preparation for the inevitable fusion. Presumably if he didn't step up, the two planets would've just annihilated after Zanza and the Architect died, since Shulk was responsible for half of Origin.
About Zanza's reboots, I got the feeling he didn't really reset the world itself so much as the people living on it by repeatedly genociding and replacing them once they became too advanced, similar to Miang's multiple engineered resets of society in Xenogears. Mayneth was around for each of these genocides and geneses and this is why she hates Zanza so much.
Shulk was the first one to actually change the world's physical state in such a meaningful way by converting it from lone two land masses in an infinite sea back into a proper planet just like Earth, and that also helped set the worlds' fusion into motion. This is because world generation/manipulation (and to some extent world destruction) is part of Ontos' specific powerset, which Origin inherited since it basically runs on Ont.OS. Hence Origin used Ont.OS to create an artificial habitat the way Alvis created the Bionis and Mechonis for Zanza and Meyneth to inhabit, with Lucky Seven as its corresponding artificial Monado.

I see two possibilities: Either the worlds would have merged back together no matter what (in which case Zanza and the Architect would have utterly failed to save them, since they would never be able to work together), or it was the removal of the Conduit, which in turn was caused by the removal of Zanza who was using it for his own selfish purposes, that allowed the worlds to naturally merge back together.
I'm more inclined to believe the latter. It seems a little suspicious to me that after countless thousands of years, the worlds just happened to merge back together within twenty years of when heroes saved both of them using the powers of the Aegises who were made from/by/with the Conduit.
The Noah and Mio amiibo are out on January 19th.
Will unlock N and M's armors and the party member's leisure outfits (outfits without class wear) (Noah will unlock Kevesi, and Mio will unlock Agnian).
These really should be in-game unlocks like the Monado and Aegis skins. Hopefully they do that when the update comes.

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Nintendo is shutting down 3DS and Wii U online servers in April.
Looks like the only way to get tickets in X after April is the 5000 after you 100% the Frontier Nav.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Clearly this is just the prelude to announcing they're going to remaster X!
I'm honestly surprised the Wii U's online servers were still functional.

I've finally started playing 3, largely to make sure no one has stolen Nia's spot as Best Girl.

Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. This is the game in the series where the surplus of EXP has the most (negative) consequences. I would refrain from using bonus EXP whenever possible (at least after Chapter 2), and showing restraint with chain attack overkills, no matter how tantalizing they might be.
To elaborate, overleveled party members get less class exp. And class exp. is not increased by the same systems that increase regular exp.
SoundCloudAnd fighting enemies 5 levels below you yields NO progress in unlocking classes for other party members.
Don't forget to share your profess and impressions!
Too late. That spot was already taken by Fiora, 'til it was reclaimed by Eunie.
I wouldn't mind failure so much, if I didn't fail so much.A late but additional bit of advice, avoid meals that grant standard experience bonuses, go for anything else. As others have mentioned, experience hurts as going to high makes it harder to unlock and level up classes.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."You also have no use for gold meals, or gold, for that matter. Maybe you could use it to buy the ingredients for Manana's meals (the CP-boosting meals provided by the colonies are very short), but little else.

I just used silver Nopon coins to fast track unlocking classes during chapter 7 and, if you have the battle pass, one of the Nopon Arch Sage's attendants allows you to trade Nopon stones to unlock classes for you. I found it fairly easy either way.
I wouldn't mind failure so much, if I didn't fail so much.I've found it just more fun to overkill enemies and swap around classes over the course of the game, only using silver Nopon coins as a supplement towards leveling or when I was about to hit max.
I also didn't buy the DLC until Future Redeemed came out, so I only really used it's features to unlock and max out classes then.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."I wish I had been warned that the character pages for 2 are covered in spoilers for 3.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.
That's the thing. Fiora was partially turned into a Machina, and the machine is designed to reverse the process. How would it work on Xord if he's just a brain and organs stuffed inside of a Mechon body?
Orcus on His Throne will always be my pet peeve.
