I know I'm looking forward to spring, a lot, but I never get tired of talking about skiing.

Anybody else out there more excited for the Winter Olympics than the summer games?

I like that too, though I have an ulteior motive.

I'd like to shake the hand of whoever designed some of Michelle Quan's outfits.

She is, but still...

You know what's boring though? The Biathalon. Shooting sports are incredibly dull spectator sports, although playing them is probably heartpounding. Though, that's the challenge in that sport.

I liked in the last games when Shaun White just destroyed everybody for the gold, and didn't even break a sweat.

Curling is suprisingly entertaining. More action packed than the range sequence of the Biathalon.

I just remember how they couldn't light all the torches because of some malfunction. The time the celebrities spent standing there waiting seemed to go on forever!tongue

Canadian celebrities? Isn't that an oxymoron? :V

I dunno.tongue It was so awkward, but I couldn't help but laugh.[lol]

Also, Evgeni Plushenko kinda scared me a little.

This might as well be a PM conversation.tongue

It's not exactly naive. And it can happen. But it's tough. And definetly worthwhile.

Juan's being from the Southern hemisphere brings up an interesting point.

Usually when I go skiing a bunch of the lift operators are Peruvian, but the bad economy meant most of them were locals.
