If you were waiting for that major crash bug to be fixed before you downloaded the game, it's fixed now. That is why no one has expressed any interest, right? :P
I read the domain name as "Game for Pedo". I would play this but I have a Mac. Sorry. :(

Take a look at this: http://davidbaumgold.com/tutorials/wine-mac/
Not sure if it'll work. I s'pose I could bust out my Ubuntu boot disc and try it but that'd be a bit of a hassle.
My Mac is a 400MHZ G3, bro.

I put "galgen" into a German-to-English translator and got this:
Oh, "Galgen", now I can see it too. Even though the second "G" is capitalized too, making it very apparent that it actually consists of two different words.
@OP: The guy, who pointed this "accidental German" out, doesn't happen to be one of those guys, who confuses "who" and "where", does he?
People aren't as awful as the internet makes them out to be.: Don't really remember, haven't talked to him in years. I didn't know he was foreign until he told me though, so I doubt his English was that bad. I may not have capitalized it the same way when I was talking to him.
Hmm... I've noticed that the download counter on Gametorpedo has hit fifty downloads. I suppose that's an achievement.
I take it that the reason I haven't received any feedback on my game is that it's perfect in every possible way and feedback is therefore unnecessary? Perhaps all fifty of those downloaders never stopped playing the game?
Anyway, as it says on the Gametorpedo page, I've made some changes so that the game should be a bit more fair. I don't know if it was the right thing to do or not, because no-one is telling me if the game is too easy or too hard.
I'm thinking of adding missile launchers to the ships in battle. Or, maybe I could implement the device system in its entirety. Or I could do something else entirely, like make battles so that they don't always have to be 1 on X, or improve the economic simulation. Anyone have any suggestions?
Hi!
As much as a massive faux pas it is to bump such a truly ancient thread, I'm afraid I'm going to have to risk having my eyeballs stolen long enough to ask if any of the folks who downloaded the game (all zero of them, I imagine) still have it lying around on their hard drives. The drive the original was stored on has been long since stolen, and the host died long ago, and I'm interested in recovering the old game archive.
Anyone happen to still have it?
Not me, but your best hope would be to PM the guys previously posted on this thread and see if they haven't deleted it either.
Trouble is, I don't think *they* downloaded the thing either.
It's a game I made, I wouldn't mind having some feedback on it.

I think it's an okay sort of game, it serves its purpose of giving me something to waste my creative energies on. It's somewhat addictive, though that just makes it even more upsetting when it crashes. As I mentioned in the devlog, I actually fixed the one-out-of-four-battles crash bug on enemy defeat, but I apparently forgot to upload the new version.
Tell me what you think about it.
Also, the German Bilingual Bonus of the title was totally unintentional. I only learned about it from a conversation with a German colleague.
