Is this even remotely pictureable?
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyReally hard trope to picture.
Rhymes with "Protracted."Hmm... Maybe instead we should show the wedding shot from a forward angle and compare with an image of Audrey being fed to Audrey II.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.^How would that indicate the trope to someone unfamiliar with the work?
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyImage pulled for showing nothing about the trope. Voting not picturable until someone finds something really good.

Fight smart, not fair. Why don't we just have two pictures of a movie's ending put together, one being the original and the other being the "better" ending?
That's not ideal, but it's the best way I can think of.
The question is whether or not that shows the Focus Group part.
Fight smart, not fair.Use the reaction guys?

@INUH:I dunno, it's a Pietà Plagiarism death scene versus two people being happily married in pastel color land?
At first I didn't realize I needed all this stuff...^What about seeing those two would tell me that they're alternate endings?
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyI dont suppose there are pics out there of Star Trek Generations first ending with kirk getting shot in the back? Then a screen of him tumbling off the bridge.
If thats out there it could work (I cant find it atm)
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!^^The same people are involved in both. And it's not like someone can be married AFTER dying, so they couldn't take place in the same continuity. Someone could die after being married, but putting the Focus Group Ending to the right of the original would establish chronological order... in cultures that read left to right.
Might be best to just use a picture of a crowd negatively reacting to an unspecified thing offscreen.
At first I didn't realize I needed all this stuff...Should we close this conversation and go imageless, or do we still want a picture?
At first I didn't realize I needed all this stuff...Eh, I really don't think this one absolutely needs a pic, and considering the volume of threads we're working on, I think we can let the ones that are really difficult to get pics for slide without them.
I know! A comparison picture between the shot from LSOH we used and this shot of what PROBABLY actually happened!
The actual shot above this image, with some witty text!
The "happy ending" not only implies the apocalypse goes on as planned, but demonstrates Seymour getting away with murder AND lying to Audrey, who remains completely unaware of Seymour's actions. She found out the plant can talk and eats people, but she didn't find out the actual dark secret. So this picture demonstrates how truly unhappy the ending is.

signature lineChicken butt.
This is an image picking topic, good sir. We are picking an image.
signature lineThe text is not witty and the photoshop job appears to have been done by you. How about a straight comparison image minus blathering and vitriol?
At first I didn't realize I needed all this stuff...This image picking discussion is STILL up. Can't we just make a decision or close it and go imageless?

At first I didn't realize I needed all this stuff...Vote imageless until shown a decent image.
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyAlso voting imageless.
"badass" doesn't anything in after used end fail be fine. Also vote imageless.
Fight smart, not fair.+1 for no pic.
I agree that The Little Shop Of Horrors is the perfect movie to demonstrate this trope with... But unless you're familiar with the movie or musical you have no idea what the image means. I would show a shot of Audrey II on the Statue of Liberty next to the image of the wddding scene from the final cut. We have the latter but we need the former.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.
