Rogue Traders. What could be said about them other than fact they hold power few dream of? They are the embodiment of the voice of the Emperor outside of the Imperium, making Inquisitors, Chaptermasters, and even the highest of nobility default to them. They see riches only matched by the highest and greatest of the Greatest House. They are the envy of those who don't know better.
In reality most of them are outcasts. Naval heroes who got in a power noble's way sometime during there service, A scion of a Planetary Governor too down the line of succession to inherit much of anything other than a chance at fortune, a valued servant of Inquisitor who asked to many questions but not enough to warrant a quick death. Criminals to bright to be caught or cornered, offered a chance ending the never ending game of cat and mouse if they instead use their talents to further the Imperium's interests. It is but a mercy to most.
Though they are the brightest of the bright, this in itself will be a death sentence to most of them. The Horrors of the warp, the dangerous Xeno, and perils cold space are but a few of foes they will face in journey.
No, greater example of the both the dangers of and the riches of the Warp could be seen by any student of history then the tale of the following Rogue Trader and his crew as the earned the ire of the Ruinous Powers themselves.

Welcome to Eye of Tzeentch, a Rouge Trader Campaign. The Warhammer 40K universe has very rich background as most players will tell you. A mish mash of various sci classics, spiced with glorious GRIMMDARK. Sadly though, despite the love of the setting, no one has really taken advantage of it here. Well...I will.
If you want in, just say so (and have a mic and Skype account). I'll help run character creation with. That said...I prefer those familiar with the setting or have the book.
Standard character creation, though I will be providing your (first) ship, the Frigate Forever Vigilant (ship points 60) and a Profit Factor of 40.
