Actually, I was just noting that the British olympic comittee or whateve they're called have decided to go for 'Team GB' despite this actually excluding the population of Northern Ireland and everyone else in the UK who doesn't actually live on the big island whose name is 'Great Britain'.

Tell me if I have this correct:
- England is just that one country/sub-country(?) on the southern/southeastern part of the eastern major British isle.
- England, Wales to its west, Scotland to its north, and Northern Island are, taken together, the United Kingdom, also known as the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, also known as the UK.
- Great Britain is the eastern major British isle.
- The British Isles includes both Great Britain and Ireland (and associated minor islands).
- Britain...I don't know, actually.
- Britons are people from Britain. I don't know how this is pronounced.

'Britain' is just short for 'the United Kingdom of etc.', basically.
'Briton' sounds how it looks.
