Kim: "I will assume not, which is a shame. I was hoping to talk to Geddy more after his capture, but..."

(She takes out her phone and scrolls through it, only to pause for a few moments at something.)

Kim: (mutters under her breath) "Oh. Look at that. [Peart] died. A shame... a real shame... rest in peace to the greatest of all time..." (turns to Ian) "Anyways, Ian... are you excited for the wedding?"

Postwick Wedding

From a pitch pocket, a dark dimension, a Unovan steps out, having substituted his gray jacket for a gray suit jacket.

Everything else was more or less the same as standard fare. There was a bit of trepidation on his face and in his footsteps. He took a few deep breaths.

"Be happy for them," he muttered to himself repeatedly.

Some other newcomer just... arrived, curious. She returned the Togekiss she flew down on, looking around.

"This some kind of wedding?" She asked the first person she saw.

"Yep," Colton told her.

"Oh, cool!" She said. "... no objections if I attend?"

Colton shrugged and gestured for her to follow him. "Name's Colton."

"Gail."

Swift Nickit, the Night Before

"Yeah, a right shame," a female voice chimed.

<It’s a measure of a life,> the Togekiss behind her added.

Halis arrives, with Asterios carrying them for a bit before they dismount.

Halis: "We're here, at last... this region is odd, though. It's going to take us a while to adapt."

Asterios: <...Why are we... here, again...?>

Halis: "Like I said before, it's a wedding of some kind, if I interpeted the message correctly. If it isn't, then oh well, it's nothing of my own fault."

Asterios still doesn't get it, but opts to simply go along with it anyway. Halis, meanwhile, is wearing a rather frilly white-and-black outfit, after hearing Asterios say it reminded him of someone. They're still wearing a scarf, as they always do, but it's changed colors to match the rest.

Halis: "Anyway... it seems like they're still preparing, so we might have to wait a bit. I don't mind, though."

With that in mind, they move aside, sitting together somewhere as Halis opens something on their PDA to watch with Asterios.

Halis: "Don't worry, I brought your favorite show. I remember how you said you liked it."

Asterios: <...Thanks.>

(As the wedding preparations are being set up, a Sobble and a Scorbunny are standing there, looking over the ceremony. The former is trembling in fear, and the latter is smiling over at the Sobble, trying to cheer him up.)

Scorbunny: (cheerfully) <Ah, come on, Sobble! It's just a wedding!>

Sobble: (bawling) <I know...!>

Scorbunny: <So? What's there to be afraid of?>

Sobble: (sniffles, shakes in fear) <They're making an oath to kidnap each other...!>

Scorbunny: <W-why?>

Sobble: <They- they're going to take each other... until death do they part...>

Scorbunny: (cheerfully) <Exactly! Because they love each other!>

Sobble: (shakes in fear) <I... I don't believe that...>

-He places a sizeable chunk of change on the bar and sips his drink again.-

-Tanten looks offended at this.-

Tanten: "Well, buy everyone TWO rounds on me."

-Ivan looks at Tanten, then decides he can be persuaded into bankrupting someone from CC.-

Ivan: "Three rounds and an entree."

-After a few minutes, everyone has an undrinkable amount of their choice in beverages in front of them and Tanten is on the phone with his accountant about these odd charges.-

-Ivan shrugs and puts the rest of his money back in his wallet. Why would fate smile upon someone if not for situations like this?-

Ivan: "Drink in moderation, folks."

-And he takes his tray of drinks to a table and sits.-
