-Ian sees Neon unleashing a Psyshock on Giga Mega Venustoise and thinks to himself, I may be untrained, but I have to do what I can... FOR THE J-TEAM!-

-Ian closes his eyes, focuses his mind and thinks about unleashing a Psyshock on the beast that looms over him-

Me: Take THIS!

-Ian opens his eyes and tries to use Psyshock-

-a small pink and blue psychic spark appears in front of me, which then explodes and knocks me onto my butt-

Me: Well, that didn't work.

Jackal finally gets his hands back on his laser rifle, as Arthur gets close and attempts to climb up on Kolemm (he has a plan don't worry), with a squeeze of the trigger red streaks of light fly from the lens.

Jackal gets his team to do another round of attacks as he steps over to Neon, "Impressive. Psychic abilities could be useful, may end up scouting you for the Aurabolts."

Lif fires a Psychic and Red fires a Moonblast.

Sigmund attacks with another Ice Punch.

"Well... there goes any potential new recruits there..." Jackal thought as he saw Neon turn into a kid before his eyes, still barely processing what was happening.

Fox however reacted more normally and started screaming.

Arthur was partway up Kolemm's body when he saw this, "What in the Skeleton Lord??"

-I get back up and run over to Neon-

-Meanwhile, with Oshawittle-

-Vulpecula blinks at Neon before turning to Kolemm, her eye slits getting narrower.-

-She aims at Kolemm and flys with her jetpack, shotguns cycling so fast they glow red.-

-Yeah Pent kinda didn't have the time to wait for his trainer license to be confirmed so in the panic he jumped the desk and made the announcement himself. The staffer who was helping get Pent his photocopies returns with a stack of papers and looks into the middle distance at the giant rampaging plantasaur-

Admin Staffer: Oh. Okay I guess you are legitimate.

Thanks. Say, you look suitably goth, do you have some spooky shadow powers running around in there?

Admin Staffer: I mostly just browse forums. I think I may have astral projected once though? On accident.

-Pent's already nodding and putting his signature on the top sheet of the stack-

J-Con boss fight

Arachna-Guy paused for a moment, leaving his mons to continue whittling down on the massive monster with... maybe a few unconventional moves here and there. Leech life, bug bite, fury cutter, and maybe the occasional electric attack from Aranos (actually just Drake; he was adapting well to being the superhero understudy) and a barrage of rock throws and rock slides from Cheirurus.

Pentigan was calling on aura sensitives—even those with extremely underdeveloped powers—to do... something, and it may turn the tide of this battle considerably.

On the one hand, he felt he was needed here. There were people to evacuate, pokémon and their trainers to move out of the way of any and all attacks from that beast. Make sure that Shutter didn't get himself into trouble. Arachna-Guy doesn't abandon people.

That thought was weird even for him.

On the other hand, it could be Tommy Petersen's time to be the hero for a change. And if anybody asks, he could say that Arachna-Guy got him out of a jam and went off to search for other stragglers.

Meanwhile, he was throwing metal chairs for panel attendees at the amalgam that looks like it came from an early and especially weird episode of the Capumon animé.
