Silversmith didn't appreciate the joke, especially in light of what he was participating in. He pondered what horrors would await him should the operation fail... And that was looking increasingly likely, as it seemed less and less Macrauls would be participating in this distraction. He strengthened his reso— Was that whispering coming from the bag? He gave it a light kick, to make a point, and prayed nobody noticed. Back to worrying. What if this "important business" was to be on the lookout for them? No, there was no way they could know... His mind continued racing in this manner, and it became difficult to focus on the task at hand. A single bead of sweat formed on his brow, which he hastily wiped off. A deep breath, and Silversmith was back to looking professional and like he was supposed to be there. He was on the lookout for his cue, though he didn't expect it would come soon.

Ian's Backpack

-Ian the Pikipek struggled to regain his balance-

Me: -jumping up and down- Hey, Silversmith! Watch what you're kicking!

Halis has been sitting around, sleeping and generally trying to stay out of sight, nervous and perhaps even a bit paranoid about what might happen next, when an odd voice calls to them.

???: "...Come over here. We need to talk."

They notice a figure then suddenly back out around a corner, and try following, but nobody's actually there.

???: "Are you coming or not?"

Halis: "Who exactly are you? I'm trying to follow you, but-"

???: "Not that way, this way."

Halis suddenly pulls away from that corner, not entirely sure why they did that so abruptly, and is suddenly face to face with a reflection of their own self. Some things are distinctly off about this Halis, though... the eye and hair color are both largely different from the original.

Halis(?): "...Took your time finding me, huh?"

Halis: "Uh... Who are you?"

Halis(?): "To be honest? I don't know. Just... call me Halis."

Halis: "Hey, there's only one Halis... that's me. Can't you have another name instead?"

Halis(?): "No. I'm Halis. I don't know what you are."

To anyone else, the 'real' Halis in this situation is simply talking to a wall.

Halis: "I'm Halis, though! How can I be me if you're me?"

Halis(?): "Easy... I'm not you."

Halis: "Wh... b-but you literally just said-"

Halis(?): "Don't be stupid. I said I'm Halis. I didn't say I was you."

Halis continues bickering with a nonexistent, far more rude Halis about names and their meanings as individuals, likely perplexing any nearby onlookers.

Colton, in response to Neo Alovye's daze, discarded Pot Shot and prepared a Dark Pulse Orbitar, throwing it with as much force as he could at her and watched it explode.

Helmsman picked himself up and reverted to his Pokemon form, slashing with a single seamitar once and watching the Aqua Jet scream towards Neo Alovye.

Roy looked between Julius, Deidre and Ishtar, unsure of how to react.

He awkwardly pointed behind himself in the empty hallway, as if to silently ask if he should take his leave.

The Petersens admire the colonnades of one of the halls of the manor. Some of the paintings and architectural flourishes seemed like they stepped into a time gone by. While Aunt April, Jeff, and Sara went ooh and ahh, Tommy was taking pictures with his DSLR.

April: Sir Macraul, perchance may we ask, what stone did you use in the floors and walls of this place. It looks so spectacular. Is this all fine marble?

Sara: I've heard they spent a mint getting this place back to its former glory. Amazing.

Jeff: Spectacular, it's like we're in 18th Century Lumiose. The Parfum Palace's got nothing on this.

While no one was looking, Tommy Petersen licked a column. He licked a vertical element that transmits the weight of the structure above to the structure below. And that's kind of weird.

Silversmith was lost in thought. Nasty thoughts. Reynard addressed him and he snapped out of it.

Silversmith: “Oh, yes doctor. Thank you, doctor.”

This was it. He thought he would be terrified, but he was strangely focused. He tried to exit the room inconspicuously, backpacks in tow. He thought he felt every eye in the room boring into him, but he had already resolved not to look back, as that would have been suspicious.

Macraul manor bathroom

Silversmith looked left. He looked right. He set Ian’s backpack down and opened it.

Silversmith: “It’s time...”

Before anything else happened, he ran off. Unfortunately, it was with such haste that he seemed to not remember exactly where the presentation room was... He decided to speedwalk in the general direction, ignoring the growing sense of panic. He really hoped he wouldn’t have to resort to asking for directions.

-The Bwaaahtmon takes a moment to find a perch and put his gun down-

-A gun, that may I remind you is made of like seven or so megaphones duct-taped together-

-The weapon seems to get a little larger as he gets that big mouth up near the receptor of the backmost megaphone after rolling his shoulders-

-The Megabug is the first to unfuse from the greater Neo-Alovye whole, writhing as it disentigrates into nothing, its storm in the sky following suit-

-Jelly Belly the Nihilego goes flying, detatched from Gudrunn-

-The Chalice and Sword go flying as well-

-Kolemm's amulet falls to the ground and shatters, green mist emerging from it-

-Spawny hits the ground with a "bwah!"-

-And finally Gudrunn herself hits the ground-

-She lays there, stunned, before scrambling to her feet...-

Gudrunn: No! My power...

-...and trying to run away through the maze of solidified Obscura pillars-

-Rabbid Reina and Rabbid Lina glow, evolving into Exploud.-

-Spawny looks after Gudrunn with concern, as does Kass-

-Julius continues sobbing, until he realizes a paw and a claw have been placed upon him by Julius and Ishtar respectively.-

Deirdre: <The woman is right, Julius... That was not you. That was not the son I loved.>

Ishtar: <I have longed to see what the real you was like, Julius... And now I may finally get that chance.>

-Julius looked at both of them i8n shock, then scooped them both up in a hug, continuing to sob-

-Sigurd watched and smiled, as did Aphrodite, Archer, and Gabe-
