-Indeed, Kai is waiting here, right by the fountain. They've dressed for the occasion — rather than the big flowy coat, they're wearing a lighter jacket, pale pink over a white button-down shirt, and have their hair pulled into a ponytail.-

-Rose is there, but is just sorta staring at Pent's outfit.-

-As is Corrin, but she's not nearly as perturbed.-

Corrin: I'm not sure what the big deal is? From what I understand, that's rather typical mage attire in many nations? It's not particularly common in Nohr or Hoshido, sure, but even then, there have been a few practiced witches throughout history who wore it to denote their capabilities and set themselves apart from typical dark mages.

Rose: Oh my god she's taking it seriously.

Corrin: And isn't it common in TV shows here as well? Surely that must reflect reality to some level.

Rose: Magical girl shows aren't all-encompassing, Corrin.

Corrin: I never said they were!

-Once everyone who's coming gets here, Ren address the group.-

Ren: Our target today is a bit different. His nam Atlas Mourne. He's the ex of one of my -ahem- normal employees. I've confirmed that he's been pestering my employee for weeks now and the police aren't doing too much to step up. I have confirmed that Mourne doesn't have a palace with the nav. Morgan, will you explain further?

Morgan le fay: <Right. As you all can probably work out, not everyone who is bad has their own palace. However, that doesn't mean we can't help out the guy who is being harassed.>

Aria: But don't we need a name and other types of keywords?

Morgan le fay: <For palaces, maybe. But this is different. All you need is their full name. As for the location, use the keyword "Mementos".>

-Ren shrugs and speaks in to his phone.-

Ren: Atlas Mourne in Memementos.

Meta-Nav: Candidate found. Beginning navigation.

-The world shifts.-

Metaverse Canalave

-The group is now here. While there are no people or pokemon, the buildings still look the same... Except the docks where ferry launch from now lead to what looks like a fleshy hole in the ocean that sea water is constantly pouring down. A bridge of what looks like red veins and muscle fiber connects to the dock and crosses over to the hole and becomes a set of stairs that goes down into the pitch back of the hole.-

-Oddly, no one has shifted into their Metaverse garb, nor have their masks appeared. Only Morgan has shifted in to his bipedal form.-

Aria: Eugh. That is disgusting.

Morgan le Fay: <That's our entrance.>

As Shadow approaches the desk, a red-haired, tan-skinned woman pops up from behind the desk, looking bored out of her mind.

Luciana: "... Are... are we actually allowed to do that? ... Okay, we're allowed to do that."

"A challenge, you say? Very well! I challenge you too..."

She poses dramatically, a Obscuric construct of a phoenix appearing behind her...

Before she pulls out a Switch and hands it to Shadow, the phoenix disappearing.

Luciana: "Place first in Tetris 99."

Shadow blinks a couple of times before grinning and taking the Switch.

Shadow: I accept your challenge! I'm actually pretty good at puzzle games!

-Pent stares at the anomaly... Susan takes a more wide look and notices two things: She's changed form... But noone else has changed clothing-

Susan: <Please don't. Morgan, please explain this... Palace?!>

-Morgan turns to the group. Ren is holding his handkerchief over his mouth and nose.-

Morgan le Fay: <This is one of the many entrances to Mementos. Mementos is basically the palace of the general public. Like a collective unconsciousness of sorts.>

Ren: And Palaces like Jerry's?

Morgan le Fay: <Those are basically formed when a someone's desires get so distorted, Mementos can't hold them. So they break away and form their own space.>

-Morgan bounds towards the fibrous bridge.-

Morgan le Fay: <Come on! I'll explain more once we get farther in!>

-Ren sighs in his handkerchief before following Morgan.-

-The bridge of veins and muscle fibers feels abnormally hard, but still gives only the slightest bit when pressure is applied to it.-

-Ren and Morgan disappear into the darkness of the hole a lot quicker than should be physically possible in the current light.-

Artoria: <Oh, of course we have to enter... whatever that is.>

She follows after, looking distinctly unhappy about it.

"I... I just..." Silas says as he stares at his surroundings...

He looks about, and then turns to Bishop, "Excuse me what is this fuckery?"

Bishop shrugs and Silas sighs, "You know... after all this... I want to find a trainer, look em in the eyes, and fight em. Something normal, my life is filled with weird."

-After Rose takes a moment to compose herself, she digs a rag out of her bag to clean up her face and make herself at least slightly presentable.-

Rose: Ugh. I don't... want to do this. I can't look.

Corrin: ...Maybe it'll be better inside? I'd be willing to lead you in, if you want to close your eyes for a moment.

Rose: ...That works.

-She exhales, and turns around, looking exclusively down at the ground until she finds Corrin, at which point she takes her arm and closes her eyes, leaning on her a bit. Corrin gives her a sympathetic look, before walking forward toward the entrance.-

Lane:Somehow...I doubt the smell gets better. Oh well...nothing ventured...

-Lane follows after the others-

-Susan just sighs and marches into the hole before things get any more weird-in-a-frustrating-way rather than weird-in-an-interesting-way-

-Offhandedly-

Reminds me of the Grey Ruins almost, except I think that viscera was worst.

Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.

-As the group descends the stairs they are enter a time of pure darkness with the only thing they can sense is the receding stench of the entrance, the sound of falling ocean water, and the feeling the stairs beneath their feet.-

-As quick as they entered the pitch blackness, the group decends into a dimmly lit stone tunnel. Behind them, the ocean water continues to fall endlessly downwards in to a black void. The tunnel itself looks is wide and circular. The walls looks like building that have been mushed together like bricks. And the floor look like paved streets with train rails on them. The stench from the entrance is gone, but the air has a slightly stale odor. And the vague sounds of whispering never seems to stop, get louder, or get softer. Overall, the place gives off a generally low-level of creepiness.-

-Ren and Aria looks around and notice that they, like the others who have come, their clothes have shifted and their masks have appeared.-

Aria: Morgan?

Mona: <Codenames now, Tigress.>

AriaTigress: Mona, what is this?

Mona: <The first... Basement? I guess? Well anyway, it's the top-most floor of Mementos. No matter where you enter, you will always end up here.>

Director: How many floors are there?

Mona: <In total? No clue. I've only been in this section. I don't know how deep it actually goes.>

Tigress: How many floor in this section then?

Mona: <About ten floors. But becareful. Demons and Shadows are out in force here.>

-Brie dives from the heavens on Atlantis, landing lightly in front of Kai-

-she...rather clearly hasn't thought to dress up, and is looking rather embarrassed over that fact. She's wearing her usual flying outfit, and is a bit disheveled from supersonic low-atmosphere transit-

Reversal Mountain, Lava Pit

-the first and immediate thing to note-

-the moment people start moving, Bwie opens fire-

Bwie used Flamethrower!

-and she rains down a series of attacks on anyone taking steps, continuing to do so whenever someone moves-

-Bwefery is hit by Ann and Rin's snipes, and Bwamanita by Shade and Archer-

-the Buckler manages to soak up most of the blaster fire that isn't precisely aimed, but the grenades rock the Dunsparcebbids-

-and thus receive immediate retaliation from the Ziggy and Hopper-

Ziggysparcebbid: -firing a Thunderbolt at Bwann- <Bwah!>

Hoppersparcebbid: -Drill Running towards Ruby- <Bwah bwah!>

Bwefery: <Bwah! Bwah bwah, bwah...>

Buckler: <Bwah!>

-Bwefery leaps down from her perch, landing on the Buckler's head, and is launched high into the air, diving down into the backline snipers with a fiery impact-

-and letting out a scream that, despite its low volume, forces people away from her-

-Bwamanita, for her part, lets out a bwah-y grunt as Kass slams into her, but promptly retaliates with a mash of her hammer-

Reversal Cave, Bwever Zone

-Bwever is watching another Whismur hard at work fixing their speaker-

Bwever: <Bwah bwah bwah? ^* Do you think they bought it?>

Bwechanic: <Bwahhh. Bwah. ^*  Bwah.>

-Bwever sighs-

Bwechanic: <Bwah bwah!>

-they pat the speaker, which seems to have been refurbished slightly-

Bwever: (delightedly) <Bwahhh!>

-the Bwechanic hops away, and Bwever climbs back onto their platform, pressing the button to retract it-

-it promptly jams-

-Kai gets a big smile on their face as Brie arrives, blushing slightly at the compliment-

Kai: Heh, thanks. It's really nice to see you again.

-They bounce on their heels excitedly.-

Kai: So, did you have anywhere you've been wanting to check out, or should we just go where the wind takes us?

-Corrin tenses up slightly as the scenery changes, but relaxes when the caves turn out to be a bit less visceral than the entrance.-

Corrin: ...Hey, Rose, it's okay now. It's safe to open your eyes.

-For a moment, Rose actually clings tighter to Corrin's arm, as if scared to believe her. But then she lets herself pull away, and open her eyes.-

Rose: ...Thank you.

-She still doesn't let go of Corrin's arm, but is at least not as tense as she was before.-

Celadon, Fountain

Brie: I vote wind.

Atlantis: <Current winds are unusually high, pointing easterly, towards—>

Brie: It's an expression! Roll a d20 or something, Kai!
