Shockingly, going towards the higher concentration of Nobus results in... more interactions with Nobus.

There's also a very large wall.

With what appear to be cannons.

Manned by more Nobus.

On top of the wall stands a man who... looks like slightly more masculine, shorter-haired version of Demon Archer.

Man: "Hehehe. With Big Sis out of the way, I'm free to enact my plan to conquer the world!"

Demon Archer: "Oh, I should have seen your fingerprints on this, Nobukatsu."

Nobukatsu: "Wait, whaaaat, Big Sis?"

Demon Archer: "Get down from there and get over here, Nobukatsu."

He pauses for a moment.

And jumps down off the other side of the wall and bolts.

Demon Archer: "After him! Through that wall!"

Artoria: "Why don't we just go around it?"

Demon Archer: "It's less cinematic!"

Artoria: "..."

A number of normal Nobus lead by a Nobusengumi move to intercept the party.

Erstaz Alliance

Tamamo rings up the items.

Tamamo: "That will be [reasonable price]! If you don't any of this dimension's currency..." she continues on for about 30 seconds of various alternate currencies, "or shares in your soul are all tender here at Erstaz!"

Stormchaser

Iona: <But I am anxious! What if someone loots it while I'm away.. What if some kind of natural disaster happens and destroys things.. what if->

Darren: <If it hasn't happened while you've been there all these years then there isn't a higher chance of it happening now, right? It's magic, it can survive on its own for a little while. We'll.. find a way back soon, before anything happens.>

Iona: -takes a deep breath- <You're right, it's magic, it handled itself way before I was there..>

He still looks a little nervous, though.

Stormchaser

"A magical library you can study inside of for 200 years?" Minerva recounted, ear flicking slightly. "I'm a little interested, not gonna lie. Just... if it's that hard to leave..." she trailed off, tail bushing up.

Ersatz

-Eris drops some diamonds, then swishes her cloak and vanishes-

Halsei prepares to get off of Asterios to fight, but they instead are picked up by him and put behind him.

Asterios: "...I fight. You... stay behind..."

Halsei: <No, it's fine! I can handle myself, honest...>

They feel a bit of a strange power, and after reaching out, an ethereal bow and arrow show up, the arrowtips shaped like hearts no less.

Halsei: <...This, however, I wasn't expecting... I'll take it, though.>

Asterios starts charging forward into the Nobu ranks, and Halsei gets a bit of practice in with the new weapon, shooting a few times at them as well.

Sergey's Bunker

-Ashur picks up her Iron Myr and hugs it briefly before picking up her compass-

Ashur: Time's running out...

Lumiose City

Phantom Cosmonaut: Do it.

-The suit glances at the sun briefly and concern radiates off it-

Lumiose A

-There is suddenly a very strong gust of wind, followed by clouds that carry the cosmonaut to wherever he needs to go-

Zeus: See ya dude! Good luck!

-As does Corrin!-

-She goes to find Mason.-

-What she comes across is him in Zoroark Purple form, brow furrowed and eyes locked with another, silvery-coated Zoroark.-

Zoroark Purple: <...>

Zoroark Gray: <...>

Corrin: ...Am I interrupting something?

Zoroark Purple: <No, no, there's nothing to interrupt.>

Zoroark Gray: <Everything is quite fine, ma'am.>

Zoroark Purple: <Yeah.>

Corrin: ...Oooookay. Uh, so, awkward situation. Good news, we got your bag back. More questionable news, uh...

-She lets out the Sneasel, who tumbles to the ground.-

Sneasel: <Hey!>

Zoroark Purple: <...Aha. Well, guess that's karma for you, huh?>

Sneasel: <...Excuse me, who are you again?>

Zoroark Purple: <Oh, right. Moonlight hit.>

-He illusions his human form briefly, before going back to normal.-

Sneasel: <...Oookay. Well, whatever, I'm leaving. That capture was a load of crap.>

Zoroark Purple: <Isn't there a Vow that says otherwise?>

Sneasel: <I wasn't fighting you!>

Zoroark Gray: <Actually, if I understand the Vow correctly, stealing his backpack was the challenge issued, and therefore the Vow is binding.>

-The Sneasel stares at Zoroark Gray-

Sneasel: <...Who the hell is this guy?>

Zoroark Gray: <Ah, my apologies, I suppose I never did give my name. Call me Sterling.>

Sneasel: <...You on his team?>

Zoroark Purple: <I dunno. Sterling, you want in?>

Sterling: <I don't see why not.>

-The Sneasel curses under his breath.-

Sneasel: <Well, if you are, and if I'm getting dragged along, you're not allowed to be named after silver. I'm already Silver.>

Sterling: <...I'm certain I've used the name "Sterling" for longer than you've been alive.>

Silver: <Psh. Whatever.>

Corrin: ...So, why exactly were you two staring like that?

Zoroark Purple: <Mind your own business, Corrin.>

Corrin: ...

Tamamo: -after Eris disappears.- "... Thank you for your patronage!"

"How rude, leaving so suddenly like that."

Outside Vermillion

Artoria pulls out her phone and starts browsing the internet.

Mordred: "You're not going to fight?"

Artoria: "Mordred, what is the date?"

Mordred: "April 1st, why?"

Artoria takes her scarf off, and... remains a human.

Artoria: "Besides, I'm the driver."

Mordred: "... Right. Enjoy the internet."

She walks over and decks a Nobu, and it disappears.

Asterios' charge seems remarkably effective, and the Nobus return fire with equally chibi matchlocks, the Nobusengumi attempting to stab him.

Euryalsei's arrows fell a number of the Nobus.

Demon Archer fires off shots with her own suspiciously similar looking guns at the Nobus.

Sakura Saber follows after Asterios, slashing at errant Nobus with her sword.

Between the two, they manage to push fairly close to the wall, whereupon the cannons start firing, and a Metal Nobu jumps down from the wall in their path.

The Moon

-Elizabeth sighs as the next two Shadows appear - the Emperor and the Empress.-

Elizabeth: "Oh boy the gimmicky ones."

-She nods and draws a card.-

Elizabeth: "Scathhach!"

-A pale-skinned Golithelle, hair oddly spiked and black "dress" red, materializes. One can almost see the fear on the Shadows masks.-

Elizabeth: "Mabufudyne, then Arrow Rain!"

-We're...probably not gonna see every Shadow.-

Los Phiones

-Luca shakes his head as he takes a shorcut down an alley, glad there weren't many challengers today.-

-Most of the soldiers aren't dumb enough to make fun of him, too.-

-Unforunately there's always some drugged-up punks who think they can take on the mafia.-

-Guess who's in the alley.-

Punk A: "Yo, Sailor Moon. Halloween's in six months!"

-Luca shakes his head. His sailor scout uniform is pink, not white..-

Punk B: "Maybe we should take his money."

Punk 3: "Isn't that the guy you always see at the Gym? Should we really rob a mafia soldier?"

Punk A: "What's he gonna do?"

-One of the punks draws a knife and points it at Luca.-

Punk B: "Money, now. Anything of value."

Luca: "I wouldn't do that."

Punk A: "Ooh, I'm so scared. Whatchya gonna do, pretty boy? Wave a magic wand and summon rainbows."

-Luca calmly draws his weapon and racks the slide dramatically. Same standard-issue pistol as most of the soldiers. But then again, the mafia is one of the few groups to carry guns - mostly for intimidation, of course. Pokémon battles are much more common.-

-Too bad his assailants don't know that.-

Luca: "Suprise, bitch. How's this for a magical girl weapon."

-He holds his hand in front of his face, Jo Jo-posing before shooting Punk A in the foot. He screams.-

Luca: "Get out of here, or the next one's going in your kneecap."

Punk A: "WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?"

-His friends drag him off to the nearest Poké Center. Luca chuckles, despite himself.-

Luca: "In the name of the moon..."

Asterios starts blocking the oncoming cannonfire, trying to push closer to the Metal Nobu.

Asterios: "Not... stopping... me!"

Euryalsei: <Be careful, Asterios! I don't want you getting hurt too badly...>

They stop firing on the common Nobus for a bit and aim a single volley of shots directly at the Metal Nobu, hoping to fell it before it causes too many issues.

Stormchaser

Iona: <Well.. It's not hard for other people to leave. Just me.>

<I'm surprised the spell didn't activate when I came here, actually...>

April Fools Day

-Alphos and Steve are watching the shenanigans, nomming popcorn-

-When they are tapped on the shoulder by two large claws-

-They turn around to find a Necrozma-

Steve: ...Voyd?

Alphos: ...Is that really you?

Voyd: ~Yeperoonie!~

-they shifts to human form to match their friends-

Steve: Voyd! -tentacle hugs- It's so good to see you!

Alphos: Finally got around that whole eternal imprisonment thing huh?

Voyd: Yep! Granted I don't have my light back but these people and Pokemon called the J-Team are helping me! Also I'm on a diet.

-munches a Pokebean-

Steve: That's great! Alas, we have to go now...

Voyd: Oh don't worry! Now I'm free I can visit any time!

Alphos: Great! See you then!

-they vanish through their portals-

-the guests are spirited back to the worlds from where they came-

The Midnightverse

-Eris checks her bag, which has several transformation items in it, and smiles-

The Yangverse

N: ...Reshiram? Where were you?

Reshiram: -burps- Out for milkshakes.

The OU

-Voyd shifts back to Necrozma form, opens a bag of Pokebeans to munch, and watches everything wind down-

Outside Vermillion

Asterios manages to stop most of the cannon fire, but this slows him from reaching the Mecha Nobu.

Mordred punches another Nobu, and Caster manages to light one on fire via a combination of a mirror and a magnifying glass. It runs around like a headless chicken nobuing.

The Mecha-nobu takes the arrows and does not fall, instead firing a laser out of its chest at Euryalsei.

Demon Archer starts firing at the wall in an attempt to batter it down. It's... moderately effective, but it'll take a while at this rate.

Sakura Saber moves to keep the Nobus off her.

Asterios pushes against the cannonfire, made easier thanks to his unnatural strength, eventually reaching the Mecha-Nobu and trying to finish it with two brutal swings from his halberds. Before he can do so, however, it fires the laser.

Asterios: "...Careful!"

Euryalsei avoids the beam just barely, popping off another volley of shots at the nearby Nobus surrounding the others shortly before Asterios strikes.

Euryalsei: <I know this isn't the time, but I wonder where this bow even came from? It's really useful...>

Stormchaser

"Well, we can test that curse you described. C'mon, let's step out of this thing," she said confidently, gesturing for the two of them to follow her outside the Stormchaser.

Poor little foxxo has no idea where to go.

-An Alolan Vulpix hops up on the counter pawing at the diamonds.-

Alolan Vulpix: <Hmm... these are arguably worth a soul, I think. Should've given more for being so rude, though.>

Stormchaser

-there is a flicker as a rip in canon opens, dropping a white van with a red stripe into the hallway with a crash!-

-a disoriented Vulpix pokes her head out of the driver's seat, tangled in some crimson silk robes far too big for her-

Stormchaser Halls - Sunny and Roy

Having elected to leave the room due to a desire to leave Helmsman and Colton to their devices, Sunny, Roy and Koyasa all flinch at the sound of the van in the Stormchaser's halls. They turn to look, recognizing the Vulpix in robes.

<Could be someone from my world,> Roy considered. <Or something akin to my situation, hence the van,> he hypothesized, setting down Koyasa to approach the Vulpix.

Outside Vermillion

The Mecha-Nobu takes one more swing at Asterios before the halberd strikes finally fell it, and it disappears.

The wall continues to sustain punishment from Demon Archer's volleys, and the Nobu horde continues to be thinned by the efforts of Mordred punching things, Euryalsei shooting things, and Sakura Saber slashing things.

Caster: "That should be the last of them. Feel free to tear down this wall now."

Erstaz Alliance

Tamamo: "I suppose in the right context one could use them to return a soul to a body, so yes."

Stormchaser

Iona: <Well, I mean, the curse doesn't actually work without the library present->

Darren: <Basically we can go, so let's.>

And they leave.

Sometime Later Near The Van

Iona: <Oh! Is that one of those vans I've read about?>

Darren: <Don't think they're supposed to do that though...>

Stormchaser Halls - Sunny Roy

-the Vulpix tenses.-

???: <Where is this?! Are you with Home Depot?!>

Asterios lets out a loud roar and rushes over to the wall, smashing against it with his weapons, obviously a fair bit frenzied by all the fighting.

Euryalsei: <Well, good thing he's on our side... he's a nice friend to have.>

They keep any of the remaining scattered Nobus away from Asterios or theirself with well-placed arrowfire, expecting the wall to collapse any minute now.

Stormchaser - Halls

<Oh, hey Minerva,> Sunny acknowledged, recognizing the Zorua despite her having become a gijinka. <Fell victim to April Fools', eh? Don't worry, you learn to anticipate and embrace the madness.>

Minerva gathered herself and sighed. <What's a Home Depot?> She asked.

Sunny, Roy and Koyasa shared in her confusion.
