-Day turns to night. The street is covered in a light mist of condensation as (twinkling, flashing, fake) stars and the (large, gleaming, white) moon hangs in the sky. The building that comprises the floors above the basement dive bar of the Prost has been wedged up awkwardly by the ego-expanded facade of the Prost's new role as a theater.

The Prost Theater shone brighter than the stars, rivalled the moon in it's splendour. Blood red and glorious gold form the new structure that has pushed the surrounding buildings out of the way, the front of house of a concert hall. There's a luxurious red carpet rolled out and a throng of faceless, almost formless beings crowding behind velvet ropes, but the brightest and most shining thing is the marquee...-

Pewter Gym, VS Brock

Brock: RHYDON! USE DRILL RUN!!!

-Rhydon's horn started to spin around very quickly and Rhydon charged at Oshawittle-

Me: Another frontal assault, as I expected. OSHAWITTLE! USE ICE BEAM, AND AIM FOR RHYDON'S FEET!!!

-Oshawittle fires a cold beam of energy at Rhydon's feet, freezing Rhydon in place-

IT'S SUPER EFFECTIVE!

Brock: Well played... now let's see how you deal with this move!

USE FURY ATTACK ON THE ICE!!!

-Rhydon attacks the ice encasing its feet with its horn, freeing it-

Me: Here we go, Oshawittle!

Brock: No holding back!

Me: USE FREEZING SHELL BLADE!!

Brock: USE HORN DRILL!!!

-Oshawittle draws his Razor Shell, freezes it with Ice Beam, and lunges at Brock's Rhydon-

-Rhydon's horn spins at extremely fast speeds, and Rhydon charges at Oshawittle full sprint-

Silas stared at what was going on, "I'm dreaming again aren't I?"

-Ren blinks.-

-Aria blinks.-

-Oscar blinks.-

Des takes in his surroundings.

"So uh, what exactly is this? Are we inside their mind? Is this how they view the world?"

-Corrin and Rose look around in varying levels of confusion. While Rose looks relatively unchanged aside from the addition of a domino mask, Corrin has shown up in her old Nohr armor.-

Corrin: What... is this?

Rose: Uh. Okay.

-Rose pats at her face, feeling the thief mask.-

Rose: ...Fuckin' weird.

Colton stared at where the bar once was, staggering his blinking as much as he could to process if what he was looking at was really what he was looking at. He looked at his phone, held it up and shook his head. He was in too deep; no turning back.

Feeling the thief mask on his face, he attempted to ignore it. Probably part of the territory, and Igor said it should stay on, or something to that affect.

"Shall we go in?"

Crochet: <When did we put on these masks?>

-Indeed, we're all wearing the domino masks from our trip in the Velvet Room-

Aria: You're one to talk, and why are you in your Nintales form?

-Ren is shocked to see his clothes have changed. Red gloves, a black fringed coat, a gray vest, pointed boots, and a domino mask shaped like a bird's wings.-

Ren: This is different.

-Aria is now in a plain, red leotard and a plain, white domino mask on her face. Oscar has a short, hooded cape over his shoulders and a plain domino mask over his face.-

Ren: This is REAL different.

-Ren looks around.-

Ren: Ummm... Susan... I am going to say this as delicately as possible... But... Your ears are showing.

-In addition to the domino mask, he’s dressed in the plain white suit with flame accented cuffs-

Ren: Oh dear. New rule. We don't activate the nav apps when we are near people who aren't prepared for... Where ever this place is.

Silas feels his face and notices the mask, "Huh... didn't not-" he then sees Susan, "Okay that can't be normal. How are you the only one changed?"

He then inspects himself for a tail, "Yeah still normal."

Doc: <How come we just have masks while some of the others have full outfit changes?>

Considering all that's happened it probably has something to do with them having proper Personas while we don't yet.

She didn't change, merely returned to her original form, much like Corrin has.

Ren: -in response to Tagg- Well if THAT'S the case, then this place has to be related to the Collective Unconsciousness. Transformations are nullified and you appear in your default form there.

Last time we accessed standalone locations through a door in the Velvet Room, they weren't real places like this.

Ren: Pent, Lane, Des, and I have. Tagg I think has had superficial dealings.

-Ren holds up a hand-

But the clothes and masks? This kind of landscape? That's all a bit different.

Silas quickly takes off the glove on his left hand, only to be met with the still metal fist, all the details in place. "Okay was worried about that, I've had dreams... hell in that other dream with the jail cell, I was missing my left arm."

He slips the glove back on, "Okay so... we're in another realm that is... somewhat mental... hrm. Okay so what do we just start sneaking around and avoiding colourful foes?"

The Collective Unconscious, roughly between the waking world and the Dream World, a sea of thought created by all humans and Pokémon. My mons and I ended up in the Velvet Room once because of April Fools.

Ren's right, I don't know how this place compares to the other CU areas that he and the others visited, but if this place is anything like them there's probably Shadows and demons around somewhere around here.
