-He flops back onto his bed and is asleep within a moment.-

Time cops, before we left we were still repairing all the stuff they broke, and Mobius, we ran into them a couple times starting out, got intel from one of their bases regarding a search for an alternate power source for Necrozma.

Halis looks at the app a bit before it suddenly disappears, as though it wasn't even there, replaced by an innocent news outlet app instead. They then look around a bit, deciding that sleeping in the chair again is a good idea.

Squirps: They're a nusiance to be sure... Mainly what I need to inform you are that there are three main departments, one for time, one for space, and one for other dimensions. Also that they have highly advanced weaponry, no doubt reverse-engineered from other time periods and universes like Mobius. There's a particularly nasty piece of work named Captain Lombardi, there's a traitor to our people named Cytiss... and then there's H. G. Cross, who's my ex-boyfrei-

-Starts gingerly limping after Squirps-

"Good idea," Jackal responded to Gaia, "Extra vantage-points is always important."

His tone was rough and flanging, the mask's vocoder doing its job very well. Hacks stepped forward and attempted to use aura sight, ~I'm picking up ambient life from the surface, a few stray mons here and there but no humans beyond you guys.~

Jackal nodded and stepped into town, looking about quietly, "Everyone split up, take places like stores, industrial areas, and so on. The entrances are mechanical in nature and thus would be hidden in locations where it makes sense for their entrance levers to be. If we get lucky we sho-"

There was a noise and Jackal motioned for everyone to get into cover, ahead was a large Gyarados followed by two Grunts wearing helmets with inverse V visors, a soft red glow coming from them.

Snakeye snorted, <This is too easy.>

"That's the problem. Someone tail them, we need to get close and they should have the entrance."

Silas and Arrow reentered, Ziltoid and Thraxx waiting, ~Excellent work both of you!~

Thraxx grumbled, ~Arrow you better at least win in the fight, we want a tie now so that Ziltoid doesn't win!~

<I'll do my best.>

<I'm a ghost type and Silas is a fighting type, I'm certain I can handle it.>

Silas sighed, <Yeah that's gonna be tough.>

Hacks smirked, ~You'll be fine, you know some anti-ghost moves.~

<Not as many as you. I'm more physical a fighter.>

Silas turned to /Duck/, "Sadly so. We're in all out war now."

The sirens rang, Drakos turned to the holographic depiction of the system and brought up a announcement, "PANTERAN GATEWAY UNDER ATTACK! NEED BACKUP! I REPEAT! WE NEED BACKU-"

The line went dead and Silas stared, "It'll take us days by Linear Impulse to get there!"

Drakos grinned, "Good thing we had outfitted your ship with a Jump Engine."

Silas stared, "Wat?"

"We figured that the Cobalt Stars should be a little more mobile to handle all our colonized worlds. So..."

Silas grinned back, "That'll work. We got a idea of what's attacking them?"

"Security feed should be coming in soon."

The holomap shrunk and depicted a large metal ring attached to a station, next to it was a sleek black carrier, similar to other Draconic Front ships but... more angular.

Abandoned Island off Sinnoh, Past

Taipan: Way ahead of you, chief. Maverick, follow them overhead. Do not call attention to yourself.

Ahead, the faint outline of a skarmory can be faintly seen, its keen eyes undoubtedly following the grunts.

Halis wakes up, stretching a bit and realizing that they didn't sleep on the floor this time.

Halis: "...At least this time I didn't have nightmares."

They check their PDA, searching up various topics that they haven't been able to look at for a little while.

the tour bus, Alola route 9, night time

-Cady and her team are sitting around inside a small camper van-

Zuzu: <Really?! Somewhere in Konikoni city?!>

Cady: That's what I heard. But let's carry on looking tomorrow. I'm exhausted. Also, I've decided to try using that armband I got to save space.

Cecelia: <Anyone not ok with me having the bed, then?>

Zuzu: <Nope.>

Coda: <Fine by me.>

Tempo: <Alright, I guess.>

Apollo: <What were we- oh, yeah, that's fine.>

Minstrel: <Thats fine.>

Alola route 9, later

Eva: Come on, it's super late. Why did you have to drag me out of bed?

Lila: I wanted to try something. It says that Clefairy can use the moonlight to float. But I need someone to help if I fall.

Eva: Fine.

-Lila puts on her mon form scarf-

Lila: <Here goes nothing...>

-Nothing happens for a few seconds, but then Lila begins to float-

Lila: <It's actually working!>

-Lila is now floating over the tour bus. Zuzu, who had been unable to sleep, is returning from a walk. She stops and notices Eva-

Zuzu: <OH MY ARCEUS! YOU'RE THE OTHER GIRL FROM THE PHOTO!>

Eva: Huh?

Lila: <AAAAAAA Ah!>

-Startled, Lila lands on the tour bus roof with a loud crash. Shortly after, a disgruntled Gardevoir teleports out-

Cecelia: ~Whoever it is, can you please keep the noise down? You just woke everyone up!~

-Zuzu points to Eva excitedly-

Zuzu: <Look look! It's the other girl from the photo!>

-Cecelia stares at Eva for a second, aghast-

Eva: Can someone please tell me what is going on?

Cecelia: ~We found a photo of you and someone else blowing in the wind. The other person in the photo is of great importance to my trainer, and Zuzu here.~

Eva: Oh, that's probably just from when Lila and I were taking photos a few days ago.

Cecelia: ~Lila...~

-Lila walks over to the edge of the roof-

Lila: <Who, me?>

Cecelia: <Sorry, no. I was looking for a human.>

Lila: <Well, I can help with that. Lemme just get down from here.>

-she jumps down-

Cecelia: <So, do you know anything about her?>

-Lila dramatically takes off her scarf-

Lila: In fact, I do.

-Cecelia stands on the spot in shock, while Zuzu runs over and hugs Lila's leg. Cady opens the door to see what the commotion is about, and stands there before bursting into tears-

Lila: Um... What's going on?

Cady: It's been ten years... I thought you'd died... I-I...

Zuzu: <I knew it! I knew you were out there somewhere! This is the best day!>

Lila: I... died? Wait, ten years ago? That's when I ended up on that beach...

Cady: Come in the tour bus, there's explaining to be done.

Cecelia: <You can come in too, Eva.>

Eva: Ok, I guess.

Abandoned Sinnoh Island - Past

-Gaia nods at the Jackal, then turns to Taipan.-

Gaia: Trust me, they'll even never know I was here.

-She taps something on her belt, and the Grapnel Gear on her waist fires a grappling hook towards the roof of the nearest building, allowing her to climb up in an instant. At the same time, Foxglove takes off, trying to follow the two grunts from the air.-

-Lucius is already up and awake, beaming brightly at Halis.-

Lucius: Morning, kid. Glad to see your PDA's working again without a dozen pop-ups every time you try to check the time. You ready to go try and find the Alliance?

Halis gets up from their seat, putting the device away.

Halis: "Of course. Let's find it for real this time... with no creepy skeleton houses."

Halis stands ready to follow Lucius's lead, having packed up their things.

Lucius: Alright, let's go!

-He opens the window and steps out.-

Halis just stares at the open window a bit before closing their eyes.

Halis: "...Welp, jumping out of a window now. Guess this is happening."

They jump into the open window at full force.

Ersatz Alliance

-Lucius and Halis land in what a regular department store would look like if the floor plan was handled by M.C. Escher.-

Lucius: See? That works, like, 60% of the time. Let's see if there's anyone actually working here today.

-He sets off in a random direction.-

-Kai stares at the clock impatiently.-

-Given recent events, they felt extremely stir-crazy just being a clerk at Ersatz. Especially considering the escapades they've been in over the last week or so.-

-But, it was a job, and that meant having a schedule. So they're there.-

-They're snapped out of their haze when a familiar face enters their field of vision.-

Kai: Oh, Lucy! Hey! Welcome to the Ersatz Alliance. ^_^

Halis dusts off their outfit and looks around, mystified by how a store can fit in a window so easily before realizing that Lucius is moving off in another direction and starts to follow them.

Halis: "How exactly did we get here? That was a window..."

They then notice Kai and look at them as soon as they've caught up to Lucius, tightening their scarf a bit.

Ersatz Alliance

-Lucius looks back at Halis.-

Lucius: It's fae shit. Don't think about it too hard. One time I-

-He starts suddenly upon being addressed by Kai and whirls around to face them.-

Lucius: AAH! Kai! I, uh, I-I-I... what are you doing here?
