Arkady: -moves forward at the sight of his trainer- <Lewis! Don't - AARGH >

-luckily the lightning does indeed channel its way into the floor, electrifying some pools of blood nearby and shocking Arkady-

Lewis: -is about summon another lightning bolt when he starts convulsing abruptly, staggering this way and that like he can't decide which way to go before disappearing in a flash of light-

-in the silence after his sudden departure, there's a sound like a Pikachu squeaking, it rings around the hallway before dying out. It seems as though something triggered that noise-

Arkady: -shakes himself and goes up to Pent, fearful- <He'll be back soon. Keep going. Please. You need to get out of here, or else...>

-the hallway stretches still further-

mood music (Drops of Shame by Akira Yamaoka in case the link dies)

Garrett: Ate sand and. Almost died. I don't r-recommend it. Death by pica is. Embarrassing. -laughs wetly, then a look of pain crosses his face; it doesn't seem quite related to his injuries- You haven't. Seen my sister, have you?

Kyler: -tears his horrified gaze away from the body with difficulty- ... Okay. Oh my god... I uh. I'm just gonna... Get some air... Just... -backs out of the living room and out to the deck, which is accessible by a glass sliding door close by-

-besides the aforementioned details in the living room, other possible objects of interest include a bookshelf, the couch, and the body itself-

-and Jimmy is transported to...-

-at some point, the hole has turned into fallen hollow tree trunk, from which Jimmy can climb out into the Lake of Rage area in Johto. It's dusk and the sun is well on its way to being totally set-

-not far away, a young woman in a stylish shawl with very long, light pink hair is being attacked by 3 Cloysters suffering from severe poisoning. Their shells are shut and periodically open, revealing flailing human limbs and faces before closing again-

Girl: -through gritted teeth- Lucia - Sleep Talk. Appius - Venom Drench.

Lucia the Snorlax: <Zzzzzmarzipan? For me? Well, back up the truckzzzzzz> -stands up in her sleep and uses Chip Away on a Cloyster, which gets knocked back a bit-

Appius the Toxapex: -sprays venom all over the Cloysters, slowing their advance-

-the fog makes it hard to really see anything more than several feet away, except for the thing at the center of town, which remains just visible from all points of view-

Male Voice: I know you're there!

-shotgun racks again-

Male Voice: Fucking monsters! You're not gonna make me a victim! I'm done running! Come out and get some!

-the voice seems to be coming from above, maybe on a roof?-

Zacharias: Oh, right, Julius. Sorry. - turns to Jared - Well, I'm actually looking for a specific kind of wine, but right now I wouldn't say no to a cold beer for myself.

Nieve: (drowsy) <The name is Nieve, kid. And y-you! Yeah you, you glorified sandile! N-next time I see ya I-I wont be so mercifffuu....zzzzz>

Nieve cuddles against Zacharias chest and falls asleep.

-Bathory giggles and illusions herself as a Togekiss-

Jared: Wine? There should be plenty of wine in Lumiose! What's giving you trouble?

Anubis: <It reminds me of mardi gra.>

-"Meanwhile, Mokuba is climbing up the Pokémon Eifel tower."-

Morrigan, scared: <Mo-mokuba, this doesn't seem safe.>

Mokuba: <I WILL CLAIM THIS STRUCTURE FOR MY KINGDOM!>

-Zacharias sighs-

Zacharias: Oh, there's plenty of wine, but I'm looking for a Merlot and an Amontilla from a particular vintage and I haven't had any luck. It make's no sense, I thought Kalos was a region famous for this kind of things, but it seems I came for nothing...

Julius: I, er, don't know much about this place myself but we could help you find it?

Jimmy blinked and looked at Gray who just shrugged, Jimmy shook his head and marched forward, drawing his pistol and firing at the mutant Cloysters as Gray tossed a few dark pulses as well.

Combat training had kicked in and Jimmy was thankful for it, there wasn't much to question here beyond the disturbing mutants trying to attack someone, kind of reminded him of Zanzibar a bit.

Jimmy let out Raiden as well, "Defend."

Raiden nodded and leaped over to the girl and proceeded to assist in kicking away the Cloysters.

Silas laid back in the bed, grumbling a bit as he looked at his 3DS and the game before him, turn based which made it easier but still, it was... painful, his left arm felt as if it should still be there.

Hacks was next to him on a chair watching, ~So... What are you going to do?~

Silas put the device down and looked over, "Well... beyond waiting for the doctor to get let out?"

Hacks nodded, and looked over at the spot where the arm used to be. Silas understood and just let out a deep sigh, "I guess look at getting a new arm..."

~Think we could get a cloned limb?~

"Not for years. Current cloning tech can only make full mons, human flesh has proven a bit harder to make, and all partial limbs are non functional."

~Prosthetic?~

Silas gave it some thought, "We got that tech back at Asimov, but... I don't know how it'd work with the scarf... I don't want to start injecting the electrodes onto my nerves until I know how it works..."

Hacks nodded, ~Maybe it's like the clothing... it just becomes part of you...~

Silas sighed, "So much we still don't understand. I do know one thing. Hacks..."

Silas handed Hacks his phone, "Take a picture of me please."

Hacks nodded.

Ever: Uh, kind of. The people who broke the sky are here, allegedly. I'm pretty sure it's a trap of some sort, but like...at least it'll break up the monotony.

-Ever glances at Astral being used as a cat toy-

...That seems concerning.

Brie: -currently attempting to remove a Shinx from Skyfire- I would say we are— -zap- ow! Concerned, yes...

Skyfire: <I never really pictured it ending this way...>

-Ever frowns-

-Amanita reaches out a hand to stop Kyler, but is too slow-

Amanita: ...Damn it. Phobos, make sure he doesn't vanish, alright?

Phobos: <Right...>

-Amanita goes to examine the body, her shadow rising out of the floor as Phobos watches Kyler-

Colt’s phone buzzed. He drew it out of his pocket and saw the attachment, and the message.

“Yeah, no offense, but I don’t really think this wine thing concerns me. I’ll be taking my leave. See you around, probably?”

And so he left for the hospital, hoping to find Silas.

 Healing Room, past 

Probably the actual Garrett then.

-To Garrett-

Not since last week, I suspect this current predicament has something to do with her.

Silas blinked at the speed of the replies.

He smirked a bit, pleased at how fast they had responded.

Colton would find Silas in room 104, still lying in bed with a blood bag and a IV drip hooked up to him.

"Oh, hey Colton, what brings you by?"

GORE WARNING

-one of the Cloysters goes down after a well-placed Dark Pulse, while another opens its shell and tries to reach out and bitchslap the girl with a hand, but gets kicked away by the Bisharp-

Girl: -gives Jimmy a critical look before turning to her mons and barking another order- Appius, Venoshock.

Appius: <Yes ma'am.> -uses Venoshock on a Cloyster, which fails to knock it out, but the Cloyster dies a second later thanks to being poisoned-

Lucia: -Snores loudly, knocking another Cloyster onto its side, where it rocks back and forth ineffectually and gradually stops moving-

Girl: -to Jimmy- There'll be a lull for a few minutes. Follow me. -weaves through the trees, running to the Hidden Power house in the northwest section-

-the black sheet makes it impossible to examine the body, so lifting it away will reveal a dead woman with [Korean] features. A deep X-shaped scar has made a mess of her torso, and the rope is tied around her neck. Her gray shirt has has been lifted up slightly to show the belly, upon which "13/21" has been carved into it with a sharp implement-

Kyler: -steps out onto the deck, exhaling shallowly- Goddamn... Okay... Breathe in- OH FUCK.

-there's another body, that of an adult [Korean] male, lying face-down, half on the deck and half on the grass, not covered in a sheet. "12/21" is written in blood on man's back. There's a gun lying next to the body. More flower petals cover the corpse, as well as a few Magical Leaves-

-the Gengar from earlier is sitting on a fence post in the yard, grinning at Kyler. It has human teeth-

Kyler: -freezes and notices Phobos out of the corner of his eye, to whom he speaks to while staring at the Gengar- Help?

Garrett: It does. You, too. You're a victim. -jerkily reaches into his coat pocket and pulls out a bloody slip of paper with sloppy handwriting, holding it out to Tagg-

Garrett: -motioning at the paper with his chin- Can you feel it? The energy?

Male Voice: ...Huh?

-there's silence, and then a figure comes to stand at the edge of a nearby flat roof. He's hard to see, but looks to be in his forties, has orange hair and is wearing a jacket with a Team Rocket "R" T-shirt underneath-

Man: -lowers his shotgun- Oh. You're not one of them. Or wait... -frowns down at Hae-Won while a Skarmory flies to rest next to him- Are... Are you here to complete the ritual?

-Taking his sword back from where he left it as a lightningrod, Pent heads deeper into the lair-

I'd ask how he's got lightning powers but I'm pretty sure we're in a dreamscape right now.

Hae-won: "...Probably not? I came here looking for a friend of a friend."

-Looking at the message-

...Well this paper does have a certain malaise to it if that's what you mean, and not just because it's bloodstained.

-Scans it some more for familiar Auras-

Arkady: -shrinks in on himself- <It's... All I know is that this world... indulges his delusions. He believes the Mob has chosen him.>

-the hallway just keeps going and going, there seems to be no end to it. Some of the same landmarks keep showing up - 3 pristine white posters on the left wall, displaying absolutely nothing, a radio on a desk, and a door to a unisex bathroom-

Man: -looks suspicious, then his face goes blank- Nothing you need to know about. -snorts rudely- Well, then. As long as you're going to be dawdling around here, stay away from the center of town. And leave me be. -runs off out of view, followed by his Skarmory-

-near Hae-Won are some garbage cans, there's a piece of paper on top of one of them-

-the paper gives off an aura very similar to Channah's, if less pink and somewhat warped in a hard-to-describe way-

Garrett: -eyes fluttering slowly in an effort to stay awake- It's everywhere. Down that. Way, especially. -gestures down the hall, to a dark, open atrium-like area in the distance- Hey, give you a dollar if you. Check it out for me.

Lumiose

“I just want to know if you’re doing alright,” Colt said, processing what Silas had hooked up to him. “And ice cream was mentioned; how could I say no?”

Lucario materialized a little bit earlier, and rubbed his arm in vicarious discomfort. He didn’t say anything.

Rei and Roy also materialized, each looking equivalently worried for Silas.

Hae-won: "...Well that was less helpful than I was hoping."

Akravator grabs the paper.

Akravator: <Hey, what's this paper?>

Hae-won: "Oh?"

She looks at it along with the Fraxure.

Basement World

Well, I've taken down criminal groups before, just makes it easier when it's all in the one guy.

-He decides to cut one of the posters a little as he passes, some random act that in some small way might expand his understanding of this repeating stretch of corridor-

Julius: -to Shioban- So, what brings you here? You say you know the J-Team?
