Outside the Base

Lexs blinks

Lex: ...Well then. You just tipped me off who you could possibly be affiliated with and what your purpose for being here is.

Lex emits a whimpering sigh and attempts tp plead with the group.

Lex: If you will not leave of your own volition, I will have to report you. The Leader knows I make my rounds around right about now and if I don't report your presence on the premises, well, I lose my head. And I like my head, quite a bit thank you.

I-It would be easier for the both of us if you just leave and, I dunno, get a coffee? Go bowling? Contemplate the fleeting presence of life on this planet?

Outside Neo-Flare

Brie: I don't have anything against your head! It's just, uh...your boss might be kind of...evil? Especially if he's cutting off people's heads.

And that whole bit about life on the planet isn't really helping your case, I gotta tell you.

Outside the Base.

Lex conjures up a Hard Light umbrella with his cyborg index finger as the snow falls down on him. Due to the fact it happens to be a hot summer's day on an island, it turns into slush pretty quickly.

Lex: -Pouting- You didn't have to drop it on my head, just so you know. (And that looks uncomfortably like blood. Ew)

Beat

Lex: This confrontation is woefully one-sided

Pianis: Still, I think I made my point and no, it's just ice. I think.

Lex: -To Bre- Thank you. I cut off my own arm to be able to do this. It always felt weird and offputting anyway, I was glad to get rid of it.

The Umbrella fizzes out as Lex shakes his head.

Lex: Sorry, no can do.

And make a break for it? Are you trying to get me killed? (Plus I can't bear to think of leaving all my own personal inventions and developments behind unrelated to the Neo-Flare projects I'm working on...)

-Skyfire marches forward, going to pick up Lex-

Outside the Base.

As soon as Skyfire moves, Lex eeks and fires a beam of Zero Point Energy from his robotic hand. Which renders Skyfire completely immobile.

He fumbles around his belt for his Pokeballs

Siren: <Look, he attacked us! Now can I crush his mind?>

Pianis: Just let me handle this, okay? You're supposed to be keeping a low profile.

Outside Neo-Flare

Skyfire: <Hey!>

Brie: Wha— this makes no sense. Okay, Atlantis, you get him.

Atlantis: <With pleasure!>

-she flies at Lex, attempting to loop around him-

The Outside the Base

Lex turns slightly an aims his other flesh, but gloved hand at Atlantis. The glove, being one of his inventions, also shoots out a Zero-Point Energy Beam. Holding her in place mid-air.

Lex: Heh heh... Zero-Point Energy, an invention of mine. When you grow up as the oldest of ten with five of them - including your own identical twin sister - being some sort of Psychic, Auric or Obscuric, you compromise.

Lex effortlessly moves both Skyfire and Atlantis over Brie and Pianis.

Lex: But since you've become aggressive, I've gotta zip. Bye!

Lex drops the two on top of Pianis and Brie and makes a mad dash for it.

-Brie starts digging herself out from under Atlantis-

Brie: Get back here!

-despite tripping over the Dragonair, she picks herself up and gives chase to Lex-

Lex pulls out two Luxury balls from his belt and tosses them to the ground. Releasing a Pidgeot and Staraptor respectively. Both are decked out with Monese to [English] translation devices.

Lex: Plato! Socrates! Use Sand-Attack and Whirlwind respectively! Create a distraction! Bwah!

Plato the Pidgeot: <Well, it seems the young master has found himself in a spot of trouble old boy.>

Socrates the Staraptor: <Let's make sure that he doesn't get too badly hurt!>

Both: <Allyoop!>

The Pidgeot kicks up the beach sand while the Staraptor blows the lot at Gale Speed towards Brie, Pianis and their Pokemon

Jacob: So now I'm 21. I can drink legally in Unova.

Come to think of it, I've never drank enough to get tipsy, let alone drunk.

-Looks at the wine he has stored in his PC-

-Looks at the fact he has The Ancient Inscriptions V-

-Pianis is about to get up, but sees the incoming sand storm and decides to just lay on the ground to brace himself against it-

-he stays where he is, while Cinnamon is blown away-

Cinnamon: <Wheeeee~>

Brie: Birds! You Monster!!

-she snaps on her goggles- Atlantis—

Atlantis: <On it!>

Skyfire: <Atlantis, wait—>

-Atlantis dives in between Skyfire and the wind, and anchors the Charizard to the ground-

Atlantis: <Ow ow ow!>

Brie: ...I was going to say use Ice Beam, but I suppose that works too. Skyfire, Flamethrower on, uh... the Staraptor.

Skyfire: <Right.> -and launches a stream of flame at Socrates-

-or in Socrates's general direction, anyway. She still can't see too clearly-
