-Pierre's eyes flash a bright Purple as he use his powers to send Jacob, Jason, and possibly others into Ren's Mindscape.-

Renscape

-Upon arriving in Ren's Mindscape, Jacob, having been here twice before, might realize that they didn't appear in the Entrace Hall of the Opera house, but rather in a large, circular fountain plaza of a small town paved with white, pale yellow, and tan stones and bricks. Behind the group is a street lined with what appears to be high-class houses leading to the white stone stars of the Opera House while in front of them stretches out what appears to be a shopping and slightly lower-class residential district. leading to a splendid white stone wall with a bronze portcullis. The whole area looks like it would be a great place to spend a vacation...-

-Or it would if there wasn't three twenty-something foot monsters doing battle with Ren's aspects.-

-One of the monsters - a green and black bipedal monster weilding a greatsword made of black and grey stone-like bone with a Mega Heracross' body and head with a Pinsir's mouth and a Durant's mandibles, a clawed Mochoke's arms and a Tyrantrum's legs and tail that have been slenderized - roars in pain as it falls forward vanishing in a cloud of purple and black.-

-The second monster - a sickly green and yellow and black creature wielding a spiked club made of black and grey stone-like bone that seems to look like it has a Malamar had had body bent backwards and it's eye moved above its tentacles which now hide its mouth; and like the first monster, has mutated Machoke arms and Tyrantrum legs and tail- looks a bit worse for wear.-

-The third monster - a red, orange, and black beast wielding a two-headed war hammer with hooked spiked around the heads made of black and grey stone-like bone; which seems to have a Tarous head with longer horns that curve back and around with Pyroar-like teeth in its mouth on a Machamp-like body with Gogoat horns growing from it's back; and like the other monsters, has mutated Machoke arms and Tyrantrum legs and tail - looks like it just started fighting.-

-The third Monster is in combat with the White Knight, which is apparently being controlled by one of Ren's Aspects as the other aspects combat the second monster.-

-Bunraku can be seen wielding an odachi made of purple crystal-like metal silver and gold that shines with its own light◊ as he sends three Sword Beams at the Malamar-beast as slashes through the air.-

-Manager can be seen wielding a two-handed, BFS with a bird wing motif made of faintly glowing white metal with a bright red and gold handguard◊ to parry attacks aimed at him.-

-Primo Umo can be seen wielding a shortsword made of shimming purple metal with a matching small shield◊ delivering tens of thrusts in the span of mere seconds.-

-Drama can be seen using a long-shafted cudgel made from dull gray metal with a glowing, green, crystal-like metal for the head and highlights◊ to deliver a stone shattering thrust to Malamar-beast's shin.-

-Chief Stagehand can be seen swinging a silver dual bladed war-axe that has gold highlights a shining emeralds◊ with heavy and precise blows.-

-Comedy can be seen using a mallet-like war hammer that is almost twice as tall as he made of silver and shimmering purple crystal-like metal◊ to launch himself into the air to land a Pummeling blow to the Malamar-beast's foot.-

-Tragedy can be seen wielding a dark gray lance and heavy shield◊ to block an attack and deliver punishing counters by literally gliding forward.-

-Prima Donna can be seen on a Roof firing silver arrows from a dark gray and gold longbow◊ between using Healing magic on her comrade or apparently stopping to Sing in a pure, carrying voice.-

-Bookkeeper can be seen on another rooftop running back and forth firing arrows imbued with poison and blinding agents from a crossbow make of fiery red and gold materials◊.-

-Jekyll - or rather Hyde judging from the wild, bestial swings rather than the controlled movements of Jekyll's combat - can be seen wielding a pair of identical pitch-back knives with wickedly-serrated edges and shinning red sigils◊ on them.-

-Sorceress is standing near Prima Donna wielding her usual staff as she constantly casts powerful offensive magics as weaves magical barriers around her comrades.-

Ren: -gawking at the battle- Way to roll out the welcome wagon... At least Director seems to have formed a Pact with the White Knight as well.

-Ren, sensing that he can use the magic he was able to use last time he was here, trys to manifest the staff he was given from cane he's holding, but nothing happens.-

Ren:' What!?

-Should Jason - and possibly Dune or any others - try to manifest things to help them, they will notice they can't. Should Jacob try to manifest the King's Blade, he'll discover that all that appears is a immaterial sword that he has to concentrate hard just to hold.-

-A bunch of Haunter burst out of Obscuric tears in space in front of Sarah and Lucius... and are quickly rendered unconscious by Zephyr's Psychic.-

Thanatos: ~Oh, now that's just not fair!~

Zephyr: ~I don't play fair, Thanny-poo.~

-An Abra takes out a pocket watch and looks at the time.-

-The teleports away as his attendant, an oddly blue Gothitelle, shakes her head.-

-Dune is wandering about, feeling somewhat better after his misadventure the week before, when an Abra pops into existence in front of him.-

Igor: <You have somewhere to be.>

-Realizes he has zero longcoat and no weapon.-

"Can't worry about that now.." -Leaps back and tries to summon the King's Blade-

-What happens is a translucent spectral blade that he struggles to hold-

"Ughh..." -He closes his eyes and focuses more-

Need... to fight... -Slowly staggers towards the first monster-

This is impractical... but... -Grits his teeth and drags his feet, the sword fading in and out of existence-

"If there is no way to win, I will simply force a way."

-there may be a Joseph, being as Joseph-y as he possibly can-

-and there may be a Samantha, looking as stoic as usual-

-There's really no place to hide in the plaza, but to the east there a road leading to a bridge going over a canal leading to what could possibly be a smithy - or is it a bakery?-

-Ren however has an idea too...-

Ren: Get back over here! So I can cast protections on you!

-intoning- O Goddess of Fate, grant us favor through physical protection... FATE'S FAVOR!

-After about three seconds, Ren casts a golden sphere of protection around Jacob that will nullify a single physical attack no matter the strength.-

-Ren begins to intone again as he thinks-

Ren: *ooof* It's a lot mor taxing to cast quickly with out a decent staff...

-If Jason opts to return to Ren's side, Ren will cast Fate's Favor on Jason. If not, Ren will cast Fate's Favor on himself.-

-With a loud Roar and a mighty clamour of breaking buildings, the White Knight is sent sprawling to its knees as Director begins to revert to his normal Self-

Ren: Director!

-Not bothering to cast a thrid Fate's favor Ren starts to run to where the Director reverted as the other Aspects start to distract the Third Monster-

Renscape

-Jason does not opt to receive Fate's Favor, instead making a beeline for the Smithy/Bakery-

Jason:I...can make it...

Need a weapon...need something to fight!

Fortree, two nights prior

Gogie: "Thanks. I've lived with humans my whole
life, though, so I'm not sure I'll need-"

-Dune pulls himself up, and the letter flutters off of his back and towards someone who might read it.-

Dune: Ah, jeez. Monsters again?

Jacob: -Looks over at the White Knight- Dammit!!

-Turns back to the first monster, then looks at the third, and settles on throwing his sword at the third, and then stumbles to his feet in exhaustion-

"Can't... what? Something blocking... unnatural conceptual constructs..."

"If there is no way to win, I will simply force a way."

Joseph: Ah! Hello, Ignia!

-Should Jason take the Peel he'll gain the Axe User class skills. Should he take a knife, he gain the Sword User class skills.-

-Elsewhere, a gust of air blows the note into Ren's face. Ren quickly discards it confused by it meaning-

-Keys burst out laughing.-

Ren: -running by Dune- Come on Dune, we need help!

-Ren starts to intone-

Spirits of wind and earth, strengthen our bodies and grant us speed... HASTE+!

-All who are near Ren speed increases - including their cast and attack speeds for five turns a bit.-

-Ren approaches Director whose wing motif Sword◊ and shield◊ lay nearby.-

-The Director Grins at Ren and company as he manifests the White Knight's Ark in front of Ren before fainting-

Ren: Jacob, take the sword and shield and help the others! Dune, get the Director to safety. I'm going to form a pact.

-Ren grabs the gauntlet and dagger-like ark and shoves it on his left arm going into a trance in the process.-

-Dune looks around, incredibly confused now.-

Dune: Wait, what?

-An unseen force tosses the Director at Dune and hurries him away. After a moment he just gets moving himself.-

Dune: Okay, okay, jeeze...

Iggy:Cause I want to! Papa makes Monotyping look real fun! :3

Jacob: -Nods and picks up the sword and shield, and rolls his wrist a little- "Okay, not typically my style but... I'll adjust.."

-Looks over at Dune- "You think we'd be used to this by now."

-Raises the shield up in front of him and stalks towards the third monster-

I don't think I should be throwing this is the best idea but... that thing is huge!! Okay well, when you enemy has longer range, you get in close. Or. Try to. Okay no more thinking!

-Dashes on ahead and takes a few long strides before taking a side step and sweeping slash at the monster-

Let's see if it can keep up...

-Ren is facing the bone and obscura construct that Sticy Lipps fae last Time- Ren: I don't have time for introductions so...

-intoning- Magic that seethes and twitches, form a chain that binds and stitches... SHACKLE!

-Ren smiles as Phantom is bound in place, unable to move, act or even talk, as begins to intone again...-

Renscape, Opera Town

-Dune will eventually find a nook away from the action where Director will be safe.-

-After safely hiding the Director, Dune may notice a spear and shield nearby. Should he pick them up with the intention to wield them, Dune Will learn the Spear User class skills.-

-Jacob's attack moderate damage and only severs to bring the monster's attention fully to him.-

Monster 3: GRAAAAAAWWWR!

-The monster swings its hammer in a downwards arc.-

-Should Jason and Dune join they'll notice the Second Monster is looking ragged and can be finished off quickly if they help.-
