-a Marowak meditates on top of the mountain; she holds a Lairon Femur in her hands, and has a circle of blue paint on her chest-

-A redheaded woman and a Metagross approach the Marowak-

Iron Marrow: -eyes closed- <I was told to expect you.>

Lina: Yep, it's her.

Chrome: -to Iron Marrow- By Polly, I'm presuming?

Iron Marrow: <Some human, probably a dead woman. But what do I know?>

Chrome: <Apparently you know how to beat me.>

Iron Marrow: <Heh. Sounding unconfident, are we?>

-she smirks, then opens a pair of piercing eyes-

<But if you want to be defeated, you've come to the right place!>

-she spins her bone one rotation-

Chrome: <Good. But be warned I'll put up a fight.>

-to Lina- <Ready?>

Lina: -holds up the hand with her Mega Ring- As I'll ever be.

Iron Marrow: <Well, unless you plan to kill me by old age, let us begin.>

-Lina touches her Mega Ring, Mega Evolving Chrome-

Mega!Chrome:    <Ahahaha! You dare challenge Godcrusher the Magnificent?>   

Iron Marrow: <Pretty much.>

-she stretches her arms, then stomps the ground powerfully-

-rrrrumble-

-the entire mountaintop liquifies into quicksand, except for two rock platforms below the Marowak and Lina-

Iron Marrow used... um... Earthquake is close enough?

Mega!Chrome:    <Pah! Mere parlor tricks can't stop me!>   

-rushes at Iron Marrow with a Meteor Mash-

Iron Marrow: -stands in place as Mega!Chrome charges, making no move beyond embedding her feet into the ground, as though the rock had become boots-

-once he reaches melee range, she then parries the Meteor Mash with a Dynamic Punch-

Mega!Chrome: -is parried and sent spinning before righting himself-    <Bah! Inconsequential!>    -Goes for a Zen Headbutt-

Iron Marrow: -stomps the ground, sending a pillar of sand shooting out of the ground to uppercut Mega!Chrome-

Mega!Chrome: -is uppercut for heavy damage-    <Why you->    -tries an Earthquake of his own.-

Iron Marrow: -cancels out the Earthquake with a calculated one of her own-

<Amateur. The ground here knows me, and bends to my will. It will give you no aid.>

Mega!Chrome:    <Well then, puny mortal. Let's see you try the air!>   

-Floats up high and fires a barrage of Shadow Balls-

Iron Marrow: <Ack!> -is blown backwards, kicking up a large cloud of dust-

...

...

...

-suddenly...-

-a large shape explodes out of the cloud of dust, then comes to a hover across the battlefield with Mega!Chrome-

-standing still, it can now be seen to be a large aggregation of Stealth Rocks, atop which Iron is standing-

Iron Marrow: <THE AIR COUNTS AS GROUND!>

Mega!Chrome:    <Fool! You think you can thwart me that easily?>   

-Grass Knot vines sprout from his four claws and head for Iron Marrow-

Iron Marrow: -is hit, shattering the rock into a large number of smaller floating rocks around the arena-

-she lands on one, and begins a rhythmic Rain Dance-

Iron Marrow: <You have power, but brute force does not win battles. Now the real fight begins.>

-a storm sweeps up around the combatants, a whistling wind buffeting a light rain under a darkening sky-

Mega!Chrome:    <Rrr...>    -attempts to knock Iron Marrow off with a Meteor Mash-

Iron Marrow: -is knocked back, but a rock rushes under her to catch her. She retaliates with a Bonemerang-

Mega!Chrome: -is hit for heavy damage, twice-    <No... I'm not losing to you!>    -Attempts the Grass Knot trick again-

Iron Marrow: <You fell for my distraction? I'm up here!>

-she is calling from atop a Stealth Rock that is rocketing up into the clouds-

Mega!Chrome:    <Get back here!>    -chases after her-

Inside the Cloud

Iron Marrow: <So, metal moron, how observant have you been?>

Mega!Chrome:    <I have the calculative skill of a supercomputer! There's nothing you can sneak past me!>   

Iron Marrow: <Really? Because I can't help but notice...>

<You seem to have found yourself inside a thunderhead...>

-she leaps onto Mega!Chrome's back and grabs tightly-

<With a Ground-type...>

-she holds her Lairon femur aloft-

<...with a lightning rod.>

-thunderbolts assault Mega!Chrome from every direction-

Iron Marrow used Thunder x255!

Mega!Chrome:    <What the->   

-is electrocuted from all directions-

...

-starts falling to earth-

On the ground

-Lina is watching the thundercloud-

Lina: What are they doing up the-

-Sees lightning strikes followed by the form of a Mega Metagross falling right at her-

Ah shit.

-jumps out of the way just as Chrome crashlands where she was standing-

-He then reverts to his normal form-

Chrome: @X@

Iron Marrow: -does a Three-Point Landing next to Chrome-

Lina: -whistles- You are good.

Iron Marrow: -stretches her arms- <Somebody has to put the whippersnappers in their place. So are we done here, or do I have to be late for bingo?>

Lina: Well, we gotta test if that worked.

-Feeds Chrome a Revive-

Chrome: <Rrgh...>

Lina: -Mega Evolves him again-

Mega!Chrome: ...

<My mind is clear! It worked!>

Lina: YES!

-hugs Mega!Chrome-

Chrome: -reverts- ...

<Thank you, Iron Marrow.>

Iron Marrow: <Well, I can't complain about a little respect. You're welcome, metal moron.>

-Chrome chuckles and heads off with Lina-
