-Zephyr raises an eyebrow, smirking slightly-

Zephyr: "Taco squad"?

Eskay: We, er, kinda got roped into defending a couple of our friends because one had a stalker that was trying to kill us and the other had some pretty darn delicious tacos.

-Zephyr can't help but giggle.-

Zephyr: I see... sucks that someone tried to kill you, but from what you've told me, you've had worse, right? At least you got tacos out of the deal.

Eskay: Yeah. I haven't seen them since the incident, though.

-Dewford-

Those were some fabulous tacos. And we should probably call them or something, see if they need help, all that jazz.

Dewford

Eskay: Right, gimme a sec.

-He flips through his contacts and calls Arika.-

Zephyr: -to Rebecca- So, you're one of the J-Team too?

Dewford

Arika: -picks up her phone- Yello?

-Dewford-

Uh, yeah, I am. I actually just recently rejoined the team. How about you?

Dewford

Eskay: Hey, Arika. Rebecca and I just wanted to make sure nothing bad's happened since the taco incident?

Zephyr: Well, I sorta only just joined up. And...

-Zephyr looks around, then back at Rebecca-

Zephyr: Well, you can keep a secret, right?

Dewford

Arika: Nope. I'm actually getting a present ready for Chrome.

-Dewford-

Oh, definitely. I am the secret-keeping master. Why?

Dewford

Zephyr: Good, so I can show you. Just don't freak out.

-She steps back and pulls the armband off of her leg, transforming into a Latias.-

Zephyr: Surprise~

Eskay: -to Arika- Oh, good. Be sure to tell us if something does come up, then.

Dewford

Arika:' Sure.

-Dewford-

-stares, shakes her head, rubs her eyes, and stares again-

-takes a deep breath-

-Eskay sweatdrops at Rebecca-

Eskay: Er, right. So, uh, see you later, Arika, I guess.

Zephyr: Too much? Sorry about that.

-The armband goes back on.-

Zephyr: To answer your questions, yeah, I'm a Latias. I'm from the Southern Island colony, and they kinda set up this program with the J-Team where we help the J-Team out with stuff like transportation or whatever, while they help protect us — since, y'know, highly-sought-out rare Pokemon and all. That said, I just used the excuse to be able to get away from home without the others at the colony wondering where I'd gone missing to. Plus, human stuff is fun.

-Dewford-

Okay okay, wait, are you telling me that the J-Team a rent-a-Latias program? How did that even happen?

Dewford

-Zephyr shrugs-

Zephyr: I dunno, some pair called Waka and Kiki set the thing up. I just signed up for it and ended up here.

-She smirks-

Zephyr: I even got an embarrassing picture of Eskay to use as a reference to find him.

-Eskay goes bright red as he hangs up.-

-Blitz whispered conspiratorially to the captured Locke next to him-

"Um, if I can get some somemon to send out a Moonblast I could phase out of this pretty easily..."

-He wiggles and strains-

"But I can't reach my belt!"

Zephyr: Yup~

-She pulls out a picture from two Christmases ago, taken just after Lucius and he had kissed under mistletoe. The Eskay in the picture happens to be blushing the same exact shade of red that the real Eskay is blushing right now.-

-Dewford-

Oh, it's a mistletoe blackmail picture! Those are the best! Hey, Eskay, who's the lucky guy? He an old flame?
