<Well, there's a lot more I can do as a Greninja than a human, as long as I don't have to talk to anyone outside of the J-team>. Though I've still got a ways to go if I expect to catch up to the Squad>

-Jacob is sitting near the south pond, feet in the water and watches nearby people walking by-

-He watches a young man and woman walk by hand in hand resting on each other's head as they enter a home-

-He looks up and sighs-

Regina: <You know you really have no right to get annoyed and angry every time you see a couple together.>

Jacob: -Sighs again with his eyes closed- "Call it a personality flaw that would be more effort to overcome than the benefits of overcoming it are worth. Granted it's not jealousy. There's simply more to this world than the comfort of another human body. A woman's lips may be soft by taste of nothing, her hands my find yours but in their grip there is no permanent comfort, in your arms you may hold or in their be held, but it won't last, not realistically. Touch is so ephemeral, and yet people idolize it. It disgusts me."

-He stands up- "Life isn't some idealistic story book, there are people who hate, people won't magically find love before their life is even half done, people disagree, there's no true magic solution to every problem. If I am a character upon this stage then forgive me for wanting to join the audience." -And he walks off back home-

I just got four hours of sleep. And now I'm stuck awake. It's not even tomorrow yet. Yay postsomnum insomnia!

-Eskay nods, smiling-

-Eskay happens to be nearby. He listens to Jacob silently, hesitating before speaking up.-

Jacob: "Please. I mean. I. Yes. Please. I don't want to just leave all these rooms I just cleaned and organized and got water running to go to waste. You get your own bedroom with it's own bath and yeah. Pick any room that isn't the master bedroom. You'll know which one is mine because it's very messy."

Jacob: -Freezes and turns around- "Ah, Eskay. S-Sorry, I... didn't see you." -He rubs his head, embarrassed-

"Sorry... I just... let's just say I'm a firm believer that physical love is like a fire that burns out too quickly and dies just as quick, but emotional love lasts much longer. I mean, physicality plays an important role but it can't be the biggest or the only part. You can have true love and be touchy but that fades, whereas the feeling itself, the connection does not. .... Sorry I'm ranting again."
