Eskay: So this is your home, I take it, Jacob?

-Dune is wandering around, a piece of paper in his hand.-

Dune: *Sigh* I'm not sure if other boyfriends have to do errands like this... I mean, don't girls usually want to buy the clothes themselves?

Rill: <Why are asking me? I am neither a girl, nor do I wear clothes.>

Dune: Right, whatever. Anyway, I'm not really looking forward to this. Deziree ripped up her last pair of clean pants this morning doing... something... with a vacuum cleaner, a blender, and a beach towel. So now she's out of pants to wear, and her Sewaddle refuses to make her just pants.

"Yeah this is... well, the house my parents owned. Wouldn't exactly call it a home. I mean, I guess I could, it was a for a little more than a quarter of my life. Spent the last week fixing it up. Almost done with the terrace, atrium, and library, too."

Dune: I've started chalking up Deziree's torn clothing budget as an occupational hazard cost. It's a good thing she's ridiculously tough - she's outlived more clothes than I have, and she's only been human for a year or so now.

Petalburg — Iri Manor

Eskay: Sanity preservation, mostly. I mean, the J-Team seems to be planning to come here anyway, but getting a little bit of time away from them... well, after recent events, I kinda need the fresh air and personal space.

-He looks around at the area-

Joseph: Ah, that's good! We just go shopping from clothes when we need...

Dune: Uh, yeah. Now, I'm not good at buying clothes, even for myself...

-He rubs the back of his head.-

Dune: I'm still a little weirded out buying clothes for... well, my girlfriend.

-Shana lifts up the front of the hat.-

Aline and her friends are on their way to the Galette stand

"So, Hoenn confirmed?" asked Aline

"Confirmed!" said both Eve and Lara, raising their hands

"That's going to be so much fun~" said Lara, looking pretty excited.

"We're one week away from it, Lara, try to contain the hype." said Eve.

"But going to a new region is just so exciting, I can barely contain myself too!" said Aline, smiling.

"We're not going to stay there very long though. I don't think we're going to meet much of the region at all." said Eve

"Gee, Eve, you're always the life of the party." Lara sighed, then scratched her head "... Well, we better make sure we look around as much as we can once we get there!"

Aline nodded

"True. I'm sure it'll be fun, but I thought you guys were having just too many expectations with this trip and I didn't want you two to get disappointed."

"It would be nice if we could stay there longer though..."

"Yeah, but anyway... Galletes!" said Lara, running towards the galette stand that was very close now.

Even and Aline just sweatdropped and kept walking towards the stand.

Jacob: "Nah, I'm fine. I mean, the rooms are clean now if you need a free place to stay. I have like, 7 of them, including mine. The kitchen is clean, the water works, I got that possessed water park out of the basement and everything is fairly quiet. The third floor is a disaster but it is what it is."

-He pats Eskay's shoulder- "And that's understandable. Does "recent events" have to do with Lucius or with the fact you and your reproductive systems I assume as well are distinctly more masculine?"
