-without any prompting she calls down a Thunder on Rain-

Rain: -twitches her tail in irritation- <Is that... all...>

-she then collapses, worn down by the poison-

Kyle: We're not done yet! Show her who's boss, Dryce!

-Kyle sends out a Vanilluxe-

Dryce the Vanilluxe♂: <Oh, more peoplemons to play with!>

Electro: <That's right!>

Forte: Hit it with a Thunderbolt!

Electro: <Aww, but Thunder is better!>

-despite her complaint, Electro complies, zapping Dryce with a bolt of electricity-

Dryce: <Ow! That stings!>

Kyle: Hit back with Blizzard!

-Dryce blows a gust of cold air from both mouths, but it fails to hit, as Electro has already zipped out of the way-

Electro: <Too slow!>

Forte: Thunderbolt again!

-Electro discharges another bolt of electricity from her quills, this time hitting Dryce right down the middle-

Dryce: <Ow! You're mean..> -falls over-

-He finally lets go-

Eskay: Anyway, er, I need to tell Mom about this. So, um... see you.

-He leaves. If Psyche so wishes, there's still Skye to talk to.-

-Maggie is too focused on sliding down to notice-

Ramos: "Heh, another challenger?"

"Well, I'm the Gym Leader. Ramos's the name."

"Did yeh enjoy the garden playground I made with all these sturdy plants o' mine? Their strength is a sign o' my strength as a gardener and a Gym Leader! Yeh sure yer up to facing all that?"

-He sends out a Roselia-

-Dune sends out the Amaura.-

Dune: Use Nature Power!

Flonne: <Sorry, lovely flower!>

-Flonne's fins crackle with energy as she launches what ends up being a Tri Attack at the Roselia. The energy of the attack has a distinctly teal hue to it.-

Tower of Mastery

Kyle: You want fast mons, huh? Well, watch this! NRG, come out!

-Kyle sends out an Electrode-

NRG the Electrode: <Awaiting orders.>

Forte: Hit it with a Shadow Ball!

Electro: <Aww, do I have to?>

-Electro forms a ball of Obscura on the tip of her tail, then does a front flip to kick it at NRG-

Kyle: Hit it back with Mirror Coat!

NRG: <Order accepted.>

-NRG forms a barrier around itself as the Shadow Ball hits, and it explodes, launching fragments of energy at Electro-

Electro: <Ow ow ow ow ow! That was cheap!>

Kyle: Mirror Coat again!

Forte: Switch out!

-Forte switches out Electro, sending in Leaflet in her place-

-NRG forms the barrier again, but it dissipates in a moment-

Kyle: Argh! Stop doing that!

Lumiose City

Ever: ...Is she talking about evolving or something?

-Is once again playing my harmonica by the cliffside-

-The Roselia is struck by the Tri Attack, becoming burned as a result-

Roselia: <Ugh, it's too early in the morning to be dealing with this.>

Ramos: "Toxic Spikes!"

-He scatters Toxic Spikes around Flonne-

-continues directing the laser pointer this way and that-

Dolabella: -stops chasing it with difficulty and totters over to Tagg, wild-eyed- <Make it stop. Ahaaa. The dancing red! Tell her to make it stop!>

Mezzo: Oh, why didn't I guess that?

Xel'lotath: <And now, the proper conclusion comes to you. Well done.>

Kyle: Hit it with Thunder!

Forte: Use Sunny Day!

-a thundercloud appears above Leaflet, but he gathers an orb of sunlight that causes it to dissipate-

Kyle: Argh! This isn't fair!

Forte: That's what you get for disrespecting Eevees! Now, Swords Dance!

-Leaflet takes a deep breath-

Leaflet: <I can do this...>

-and does a few motions with his tail to prepare himself-

Kyle: Use Explosion!

NRG: <Confirmed. Preparing detonation in three... two... one.>

Leaflet: <Eep!>

-Leaflet attempts to hide, but gets caught in the full blast-

-however, he stays standing-

Leaflet: <That was close...>

-The spikes fall around Flonne, and she's careful not to put her foot down on any of them.-

Flonne: <Aw, now that just looks mean.>

Dune: I'll say. Anyway, Aurora Beam!

-Flonne's sails glow again, and a beam of rainbow-colored energy is shot at the Roselia.-

Ever: ...So what does that have to do with flipping Mezzo upside-down?

-The Roselia is struck by the Aurora Beam, taking a good deal of damage-

Ramos: "Giga Drain!"

Roselia: <Ugh, take this!>

-She tries absorbing Flonne's energy-

Shalour Hotel

-Eskay returns to his hotel room. A few moments pass, and Ellen appears in the room in a swirl of Obscura.-

Ellen: You wanted to see me?

Eskay: Er, yeah... um...

-He glances down at the floor, unsure what to say, then back up at her.-

Eskay: ...Um... remember back in Orre when I was turned into a girl by that amulet thing Pent has?

Ellen: Yes, why?

Eskay: Well, um... I've kinda decided that... I was so much more comfortable as "Sarah" than I am now.

Ellen: I see... I'm glad you shared that with me.

Eskay: However... I do kinda need advice.

-Eyebrow raise-

Ellen: What sort of advice?

Eskay: ...What to do about my gym challenge and league run. I mean... Diantha already knows me. As a boy. Once I switch, I want to stay switched...

Ellen: Oh, that's easy. The Champions already know of the J-Team and the antics they get into. Some even have firsthand experience.

Eskay: ...Huh. So... you'll talk to Diantha?

Ellen: I'll give her a heads-up, yeah.

-She smiles and hugs Eskay.-

-Eskay smiles, breathing a quiet sigh of relief and hugging back-

-Kyle sends out a small Gourgeist-

Kyle: Like I'm gonna tell you!

Forte: Ugh, fine. Leaflet, use Synthesis!

-Leaflet basks in the sunlight to restore the health lost from NRG's Explosion-

Leaflet: <Ah...>

Kyle: Samhain, Trick-or-Treat!

Forte: Hey, that's not even a real move!

Kyle: Yes it is! You don't know anything, Eevee girl!

-Samhain sends wisps of ghostly energy to Leaflet, which envelop him and turn him transparent-

Leaflet: <Ah! What happened to me?>

Samhain: <Oooo, now you're a ghostie too~>

Forte: X-Scissor!

-Leaflet runs up and does a dual cut with his tail-

Samhain: <Oooo, you need to do better than that~>

Kyle: Phantom Force!

Forte: Stop using your made-up moves!

-Samhain disappears into the ground-

Leaflet: <Huh?>

Forte: Leaflet! Swords Dance again!

-Leaflet makes another motion with his tail, which is then interrupted by Samhain reappearing right in front of him-

Leaflet: <Eep!>

-and rushing straight through him-

Samhain: <Oooo, you're scared now~>

Forte: Now finish it with Leaf Blade!

Leaflet: <R-Right!>

-Leaflet dashes toward Samhain and delivers a cut with his tail-

Samhain: <Oooo, you're scary... too~>

-Samhain falls over-

Kyle: I can't believe this!

-Building a teal aura, Flonne rushes the Roselia, bearing down on the Grass-Type.-

-Vierr may pass by Mezzo and Ever. A certain pure-white Espurr is on his head, much to his dismay.-

-The Roselia is struck and faints-

-He sends out the Ferroseed-

-He tries using Metal Claw on Flonne-

Psyche waves at Eskay, and turns to Skye. "So, how've things been with you?" :3

Nah, it takes him out of himself. -pockets the laser pointer anyway-

-picks him up and looks at Tagg- Sorry, haven't I seen you before?
