-Mezzo is asleep, having a dream in which she, as a Liepard, is running through a cave full of spikes, flipping between the floor and the ceiling to avoid them-

-Celeste is awakened by Shadow sniffing at her ribbons-

Celeste: -yawn- <Uncle Shadow? What are you doing?>

Shadow: <Trying to figure something out.>

Celeste: <Like what?>

Shadow: <You should have gained some new abilities upon evolving, yes? Could you demonstrate one?>

Celeste: <Um...>

-Celeste rises to her feet and extends her ribbons, then flaps them to cause a gust of pink wind-

Shadow: <Hm.>

-Shadow closes his eyes a moment, and a similar wind erupts from his forehead gem-

Shadow: <Interesting.>

Celeste: <Oooh...>

Hotel Richissime

-Straw's Holo Caster beeps, but Straw is still asleep. It does startle Aurora, who had been lying on Straw's bag. She looks down at it, but can only recognize that it's from Crow-

Aurora:-pokes Straw with her paw to try and wake him up, but it does nothing-

Santalune Gym:

Robin: A bit more...Just a bit more...Golbat! Brave Bird!

Larvesta: Unfair...

Golbat: You're...Jealous? Really?

The worn out Golbat charges at the Scatterbug.

-Eskay is standing at the gate toward Route 12. Skye walks up to him.-

Skye: ...Is something wrong?

Eskay: Oh, um, hi, Skye. There is, kinda... erm, would you mind coming with me on my way back to Coumarine? I... kinda need someone to talk to.

Skye: Oh, um... sure, I guess. We don't talk much anymore anyway.

-Eskay smiles a bit-

Eskay: Thanks.

-He steps out of the gates, Skye following after him-

Coumarine

-Joseph is sitting on a bench, thinking to himself:-

I should hug a Purrloin.

Santalune Gym

Scatterbug: <Oh nuts.>

-The Scatterbug is flattened underneath the Golbat's assault. Viola calls her back and takes a picture of Robin and Golbat.-

Viola: That was pretty clever! Good work. Here, you earned these, definitely.

-She hands Robin a badge and TM.-

Viola: The TM is Infestation. It'll keep an enemy from fleeing, as well as cause damage over a set amount of time.

Lumiose City

-Ever is asleep, curled up next to Mezzo-

Coumarine Gym

-Trying to beat the possibly non-existant rush, Maggie has been climbing up ropes to reach Ramos-

-At some point, she finally does so-

Coumarine Gym

Ramos: Well, hello there, young lady! Here for a challenge?

-The old man chuckles as he leans on his trimmers.-

Coumarine Gym

Maggie: "Oh, yeah, I am."

Coumarine Gym

Ramos: Excellent; these last few challenges have gotten my blood pumping. Go, Lombre!

-The Water/Grass type takes the field.-

Lombre: <Ugh... it's too earrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrly for a gym battle...>

Route 12

Skye: ...Are you sure about this?

-Eskay nods-

Eskay: It took me almost a year, but yes. I was so much more comfortable with myself throughout Unova, and it took me until now to realize that wasn't just because Cipher was at large after we left.

Skye: ...I see... So, um, do you want me to start calling you Sarah, or...?

-Eskay shakes his head-

Eskay: Not yet. Not until the change actually happens.

Skye: If you say so...

-They walk in silence for a few moments. Skye speaks up again.-

Skye: ...What are you going to do about your gym challenge?

-Eskay blinks-

Eskay: ...What about it?

Skye: Well, um, you've already faced four of them as a guy. And the Champion already knows of you as "Eskay", not as "Sarah".

-Eskay stops.-

Eskay: ...Er... right... um...

-He sighs-

Eskay: ...I don't know...

-Skye hugs Eskay-

Skye: Maybe you should talk to Mom about it. You should talk to her about this anyway, but bring up the whole "what to do when the champion knows you as something else" thing.

-Eskay nods-

Eskay: I guess... I'll do that once we get to Coumarine. Before I talk to Pent.

Skye: Okay...

-Skye hugs tighter-

Skye: Good luck.

-Eskay smiles and hugs back.-

Eskay: ...Thank you.

Coumarine Gym

Maggie: "Right, then."

"You're up, Sack!"

Sack: <Do I have to, your Highness?...>

Maggie: "You really should. Especially because I didn't end up getting a chance to use you last Gym battle..."

Sack: <Alright...>

-He takes flight-

Maggie: "Right, let's start with Infestation!"

-Sack lazily sends various small creatures at the Lombre-

Coumarine

Valencio exits a Pokecenter, with a large bulk pack of Ultra Balls. He somehow manages to fit them all in his bag. He takes out his Pokedex and starts fiddling with it, Fuji by his side.

"Damn, dude. 534 caught, who the hell knows how many more. Seems like more get discovered everyday."

<Well, you always did set lofty goals for yourself.>

-They proceed to wander around the city, Valencio absentmindedly looking through his Dex-

Robin: That was the kind of thing I expected from Gurdurr! Heh...Ahem, I'm sorry about that. You're just usually so shy that...Well, I couldn't bring myself to see you hurt like that. In hindsight...It was a bit of an overreaction...

Larvesta: -glares at Robin-

Robin: I promise, that'll be the last time I do something like that! Promise!

-beat-

...Hey...Viola? You said something about my Larvesta, awhile back?

Lombre: <Woah, what?! Eeeeew!>

-The Lombre is covered in miniature creepy crawlies.-

Ramos: Use Bubblebeam.

-Lombre shoots a stream of bubbles at Sack, still trying to shake off the bugs that are nipping and biting him.-

Santalune Gym

Viola: Well, they're rare in Kalos, and their evolution is one of the strongest Bug-Types I've ever seen - maybe the strongest ever! Except maybe that one Bug-Type that the rumors are going around about, but I can't speak for it's strength.

-Sack is struck by the Bubblebeam, taking a bit of damage-

Sack: <Ehwww...>

Maggie: "...I don't know what that sound was supposed to be, but try Bug Bite!"

Sack: <Yeah, sure...>

-He flies over to the Lombre, trying to bite himm in an insectoid way-

Coumarine Gym

Lombre: <AAAAH THIS ISN'T WHAT I SIGNED UP FOR!>

-The Lombre is bitten, both by Sack and the Infestation. He's barely hanging on.-

Ramos: Fury Swipe him away.

-The Lombre furiously swipes.-

Coumarine

- Is around somewhere, training my Pokémon -

Okay, Kiara. The next gym is a Grass gym, so I'll be needing your power for it.

Kiara: (nods) <I'll do my best.>

Coumarine Gym

-Sack is struck by the Fury Swipes all five times due to being too lazy to fly away and brought to mid-low health as a result-

Maggie: "Try Infestation again!"

Sack: <Sure...>

-He sends more small creatures at the Lombre-

Coumarine

Lombre: <AAAAAAH GET THEM OFF GET THEM OFF!>

-The Lombre lies flat on the ground and tries rolling the bugs off, but fails. He eventually passes out.-

Ramos: Heh, looks like Viola's only tricks are still out and around. Return, Lombre. Go, Skiploom! Use Acrobatics.

-The Grass/Flying takes the field, darting at Sack.-

Coumarine City

-Eskay and Skye arrive here. They might find Psyche-

Santalune Gym

Robin: Ah, I see...So...How do you feel about having her beauty all to herself, for the rest of the day?

Larvesta: ?!

Robin: Sound interesting?

Psyche waves at Eskye. "Hey, guys~ What's up? :3"

Coumarine City

Skye: Hey, Psyche.

Eskay: Hey... I, um, have something to tell you.
