Star Fox Grand Prix could still exist, it just might get shown at a later date. Remember what happened with Mario + Rabbids?
Putting Zero after Assault wouldn't let them include Pepper, Andross, or Andrew with Pigma in Star Wolf.
And that's something that frustrated me with Zero besides the gameplay. This rigid adherence to the status quo. I loved Assault's willingness to shake things up.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! You could say that Krystal was shoehorned into Star Fox to begin with and developers struggled to fit her into the team/world. I've also seen the claim that the timeskip from 64 was sorta unneeded for how many years passed.
You could say both of those things. Personally, I think both of those statements are false but both of them could be said.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! The timeskip between 64 is Adventures is weirdly long. It's 8 years after 64, and the only things to happen in that time are that Falco left the team, and Star Wolf changed members (which was only established in Assault). Assault even begins with you defeating the leftovers of Andross' army, so even that didn't get settled in those 8 years. It's strange that they choose a such a long time despite nothing major happening to justify it.
Krystal is fine though. I don't understand what the problem with her is, outside of people just getting mad at Fox having a love interest.
Footage of Fox in action in Starlink. Apparently you can play as him throughout the entire game if you prefer, so immediate bonus right there. Overall its bittersweet seeing him as a guest in character in the kind of deeper space combat game that SF could progressed into becoming years ago.

Still waiting for a Legion of Losers movie...I figure they could have done that if they took the series more towards SF 2's direction.
After playing both of the SNES Star Foxes, I can say I prefer 2 oddly enough
But yeah, now that that game is released, hopefully its music will show up in other stuff too
I really hope Miyu and Fay from Star Fox 2 might finally return in a future Star Fox game after 2 finally gotten a release.
"A Lady does not start fights but they can finish them"More gameplay footage out of Starlink, and based on this and other released videos, the Starfox team really seem organically integrated into the story. Also interesting that there are some SF 2 esque elements with outposts at risk if they're not rescued in time.
Still waiting for a Legion of Losers movie...Ubisoft would be perfect to make a future Star Fox game after seeing the footage.
"A Lady does not start fights but they can finish them"Wolf confirmed for an appearance in Starlink.
We've come full circle; from a vaguely British voice in 64 to full blown Jeremy Irons in this one.
Still waiting for a Legion of Losers movie...Oh gods... why don't I have the Switch yet?!
Game Xplain's posted a bunch of new Starlink videos (including a cutscene with Wolf) today, and this one in particular shows off a lot of the open world elements:
The Wolf cutscene is here:
"[...] it's also a Star Fox game if you play it on the Nintendo 64"
what the fuck
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! Finally picked up Starlink, and in regards to the SF franchise specifically I'll say this: the base of the next breakthrough Star Fox game feels like its here. Multiple weapon types, ship/gun modding, open world exploration via planets, and a sense of a solar system that's constantly active.
The next game building on that via utilizing more dynamic enemies, a deeply involved story, greater contrast with planet climates/effects, and utilizing a few select rail shooter segments (perhaps in specific spots not unlike BOTW's shrines) and it really would feel like the next step of the franchise.
Still waiting for a Legion of Losers movie...I too have now played Starlink after putting it off for a while. It's quite overwhelming.
Any unsung tips that I should heed? Like which upgrades I should go after first, and what kind of tactics I should use.
Get the fire blaster. It's basically a shotgun. Its hitscan radius is positively MASSIVE and if you apply all the "reduce energy consumption" mods on it, you can basically chain fire it.
The legendary mod that adds Overheat to the already powerful On Fire ability basically makes it a whirlwind of death that leaves nothing alive.
The Arwing is fast, but unfortunately it's made of paper. If you go to the hidden shattered planets in space, use literally any of the other ships.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youHow would I go about getting this Fire Blaster? Is it an upgraded Flamethrower?
Oh yes that's what they call it. Apply energy reduction mods like crazy.
The gun on my right here is the Flamethrower. The left side has the Crusher. The elemental combo they make is the Fire Vortex, which traps enemies in place and deals continuous fire damage.
Oh, also, apply at least one range extender, so it's not only effective against things that are already in your face.

I honestly think Krystal should have not been cut at all.
Zero didn't need to be a reboot, could have just continued after Assault and ignored Command.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!
