Was just getting the craving to play this game again. Good to see it's still kicking.
Bleye knows Sabers.Awesome, and it looks like this is really bringing us back to Republic vs. Empire. Has the feel of classic KOTOR again.
"For all those whose cares have been our concern, the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die."What, the Alliance is still going? I thought it had collapsed.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Basically the Eternal empire has for the most part collapsed and what pieces were Republic or Sith Empire have returned to their control as both sides scramble to reassert their dominance now that the third party faction has been defeated
once again the player character gained Dominance prestige and even a measure of unity... goes out the window cause the Sith empire needs to collapse and won't till BW's through with TOR
I'm A Pervert not an Asshole!Though to a certain degree the the alliance does exist it just lost the teeth it needed remain neutral of the sith empire vs old republic conflict.
Some of the teammates went back to their normal duties, but remain as available contacts to aid the player.
Nadia's recruitment still treats the game like the alliance is still a coalition of people from the empire and republic working together.
"When I offered to make Norea my third back-up girlfriend she just glared at me and started throwing things at me.." Renee CostaWhat's up with resurgence of Star Wars game threads?
So do you guys actually like this game? If I'm being frank, this game was probably the worst experience I ever had with any video games. On the other hand this game also has some of the most engaging storylines in the Star Wars franchise. Well prior Eternal Empire arc anyways.
Overall yeah I enjoy the game and the story with a few exceptions.
I will say certain things could have been done better, but the overall experience has been enjoyable.
Having my Jedi counselor undermine the Republic in subtle ways was interesting. I am kind of interested in seeing how far that goes before they notice and what that will result in.
"When I offered to make Norea my third back-up girlfriend she just glared at me and started throwing things at me.." Renee CostaThere was a major event over the weekend where they announced multiple Star Wars games and the next main movie.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Well it's been a year since I asked so I might as well go again:
Is Kira back?
This song needs more love. That's still a no.
Maybe for the upcoming "Onslaught" she'll return
Eight years later and I still can't help but laugh that all four saber jockey classes got their own young cute Padawan girl to romance.
Bleye knows Sabers.BW does have 'habits' when it comes to their writing
I'm A Pervert not an Asshole!Khem Val is, of course, objectively the best romance option.
Though you have to be full dark side to romance the SW one. Going LS sith means she is locked off as an option. Even though she vamps it up massively.
I have yet to finish that story line, got bored with the padding of the side quests. And trudging across the map. Ugh. There seems to be so much in the game now, I wouldn't know where to start again!
They did make LS Jaesa a romance option, in the end. Sort of. Along some other returning characters, including Khem mentioned earlier, you can trigger a short romance cutscene when you meet her again. Now, in all honesty these can feel a little token; you know after they show up that, well, they're probably never going to show their head again.
Pretty funny that Jaesa has no clue what 'the Alliance' is or what you've been doing. Wasn't paying much attention to things during the Zakuul occupation, clearly. Happens to us all.

Before I forget again, thank for the reply Tropers/tclittle. But I was actually asking why did our thread about Star Wars game had a sudden resurgence.
I could've sworn you could romance Khem.

It's okay in small bursts. I'll usually come back to it for a few weeks each year, when there's a bit of new content, but I've never been able to sustain interest in the day-to-day stuff.
"For all those whose cares have been our concern, the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die."I played the crap out of SWTOR when it first came out, but I eventually realized that I don't enjoy MMOs as a genre because of the time commitment they require and stopped.
I remember it being pretty fun, but I also know that there have been a crapload of gameplay overhauls in the years since I stopped playing, so I can't really speak as to how fun it would be now.
I still try to keep up with the story on youtube though.
I enjoy SWTOR but I basically play it like a single-player game. I don't give a rat's ass about my equipment numbers and just enjoy the story, and a lot of the story options the game gives you are awesome.
I've noticed a lot more level scaling going on now. Flashpoints can be done at any level now?

Bleye knows Sabers. The nice part is a lot of the content doesn't require other people to complete. The only exception being operations.
"When I offered to make Norea my third back-up girlfriend she just glared at me and started throwing things at me.." Renee CostaI guess I'm glad people are able to enjoy the game. Can't say I'll ever be one of those people ever again.
It would be nice if they wrap up the Imperial Agent's storyline. Maybe Jadus will finally return
Good news! HK-55 is now available on the Cartel Market for those who missed his Subscriber bonus.
Bad news! He costs almost 4k Coins and there is currently no option to make his unlock account wide.
Shamelessly plugging my comics, Oh yes.So back to the old grind now that both the Eternal Empire and the Eternal Alliance are gone, eh?
Also you'd think that the Empire would have learned its lesson considering how Corellia ended for them last time.

New expansion, Onslaught, incoming in September.
