I mean, Daedric Princes work on Blue-and-Orange Morality, while Aedra work on... no morality because they are functionally corpses.
Yeah lol. I will say, the fact that the ancient Dunmer got along decently with the Dwemer (IIRC) should tell you quite a bit lmao.

They briefly got along with the dwemer. And why not? All the Dunmer saw was a civilization at the crown of its might, with mastery over the very fabric of reality. For a culture obsessed with divinity arisen from enlightened mortality, that seems like a natural friendship.
I'm not sure they knew about the snow elf atrocities. Or that the dummer would have cared
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youAnd they were technically Chimer, still golden and green-eyed.
There was never a moment with both dwarves and dark elves walking Tamriel at unison, with a single exceptional dwarf making it (and he no longer walked).
I never said they were good, I said they're better than Hircine. Hircine is just total garbage.
Regardless, I don't care about this anymore. I was having a Pillars of Eternity discussion and it boggles my mind the Huana have so much support while the same people will denounce the Stormcloaks. Self-determination is the foundation for supporting both factions but the Huana's brutal caste system and support for slavery is "not an outsider's job to fix" while the Stormcloaks are bad because they're kinda mean to some elves.

"Kind of mean to some elves"?
Way to make light of institutional racism and segregation. And they're not just mean to Elves either. The Argonians in Windhelm are also treated like crap and aren't even allowed to live within the city walls.

Disgusted, but not surprisedClearly I was being flippant to demonstrate my point that one thing is significantly worse than the other.
And it's not like what the Stormcloaks do is notable by Tamriel standards. Every faction is racist and exploits every other group. I well remember my first Morrowind quest where the Imperial guard was stealing from the locals and then saying they should be grateful the Empire brought them enlightenment. And as already noted, the Dunmer themselves were more racist than anybody in their treatment of the Khajiit.
So you're saying two wrongs make a right? It doesn't work that way.
The Empire by the time of Skyrim at least has become more cosmopolitan. The Stormcloaks by contrast want to go back to racist nationalism. And as mentioned before, they're hypocrites about this considering their conflict with the Reachmen.

Disgusted, but not surprisedI'm playing Skyrim on Switch, delivered Klimmert's supplies to High Hrothgar, and finished the Shout training. After being told to obtain a horn, I instead decide to travel to Ivarstead. Suddenly, I'm beset by cultists who immediately curbstomp me. Next try, I travel to Morthal, but the exact same thing happens. At level 5, I simply can't win. What do I do?
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.It sounds like the Dragonborn DLC has started up, now that you're a bit further in the main quest. They should spawn in most towns, but after you've beaten/looted them you should be able to go back to ignoring the DLC until you want to go do it.
If you're having trouble with them, I'd try and get the town/hold's guards to deal with them for you. Assuming the cultists attack you first, the guards should join you in the fight.

Yeah, I've heard of "using the guards", but I have no idea how to do that. And I think guards if Ivarstead hate me (even though I committed no crime) because they hang up and kill me.
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.You can check if you have a bounty in the Rift (which Ivarstead is part of) by checking the Crime part of your journal's statistics.
Alternatively, if you're attacking the cultists first or hitting any civilians / guards in the crossfire, the guards might detect you as the one starting the fight (and so attack you instead of the cultists).
"Use the guards" just means let the guards do the fighting. Unless you've got some mod installed that's causing weird AI behavior the guards should immediately attack the cultists when they turn hostile. The cultists also really shouldn't be that strong at level 5.
I'll keep that in mind (though, since this is an action RPG where the guards get real close to the cultists, not getting them in the crossfire will be really difficult).

De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.The frost troll going up to the Grey Beards is a Beef Gate after all.
Why would they throw a Beef Gate there if you get orders to go to High Hrothgar so early in the game?
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī."Hey, I know you've got some important things to do but, uh, not yet. Take a load off, smell the roses. It's for your own good."
That is main quest stuff, correct?
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position. You get the quest early, you dont have to do it early.
The Beef Gate is there so that if you do get there early, you are hopefuly prepared for what comes next.
Anyway, I just ran off to let the guards and Lydia kill the cultists, and everything turned out well.
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.I never make it up there before level 10. One of the benefits of never fast travelling and thus always allowing random encounters to happen, i guess
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youTo make you get back and do more stuff, rather than speed through the main quest.
And I really hope you don't decide to investigate the cultists now, as Dragonborn is designed to be challengering to high-level players.
I kinda figured the cultists were too strong. Right now, I'm level 10, so I'm finishing a bunch of minor quests before travelling to Kynesgrove with Delphine.
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.At only level 10? Man you pursue story quests quite aggressively
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youIt's not my fault the game never tells me the recommended levels for story quests.
But is there a way to quickly increase my skills? Prefferably Sneak and Archery?
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.
Oh for sure lol. Just not sure why Nikkolas is holding them up as proof that Mephala and Boethia are objectively more moral than other Daedric Princes when, you know, this is less "the big, good action that defines them" and more "one of the few morally light-grey things they did contrasted against everything else that defines them"
