Angels and Demons/Devils don't feature at all into the anime AT ALL EVER
Angels and Devils are part of the song-at least in passing.
No

Oh, screw this, I can't make up my mind.
I know it's not Tenshi no Yubikiri (add that as a guess, since I've been flip-flopping), so...
Is it Inner Universe?

Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.(Nah, seriously - the obvious choices have been ruled out, so the saner folks can have their turn now.)

Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.Time for some generic questions.
Is the anime Fantasy?
Supernatural or horror?

My standard Anime Theme song game variant rules: [Censored by ACTA]Not Fantasy.
Yes Sci-Fi.
Mostly not horror, but I'm sure you could argue there's some horrible parts to it.
BONUS HINT: The first picture refers to the song title. Also, think outside the box-there's a reason why i isn't capitalized.
The second picture is only a reference to lyrics.

Is the song Imaginary Girl from AD Police?

My standard Anime Theme song game variant rules: [Censored by ACTA]Flygon got it.
Nice to see you caught the math reference.
Or was it the line "Are you an angel or a demon?" that sold it?
My guess is that the second picture hint probably made it too easy. Shoulda stuck to my guns.

It didn't occur to me until after the fact that that kanji meaning kanojo aka "girl" might be the hard part, not the "i = imaginary number" part.
I was contemplating throwing up an image of a glass dollar, since that's a big part of the song too, but meh.
I really would have guessed that it was Tenshi no Yubikiri.
Anime geemu wo shinasai!I would of guessed...eh, you guys can guess.
Pyrite guessed that, then unguessed it.
And raised it again, because I'm an indecisive clown.

Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.Welp, waitin for Fly...
It'll probably be about half a day more at least - you know what our patterns are like.
Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.Damnit all! I could run two rounds in that amount of time, even using picture hints :P
Time zones Tomu, time zones.

Lies and slander!
It was the math reference. The lowercase i made it quite obvious, as I had seen it used in software code before and a quick wiki search defined it as an imaginary number. A quick check through the lyrics of "imaginary girl" for references to "tenshi" and "akuma", and the deal was sealed. I did explore other avenues, like information* to be safe, but I was fairly certain it was a reference to mathematics.
And now, for the round.
Round something
Hint: Will you guys be able to take revenge for how long my last round took? __________.
My standard Anime Theme song game variant rules: [Censored by ACTA]Is it God Knows?
Did the anime start airing before 2000? After 2005?
At least your last round didn't last as much as the Karuta one.
Do angels and devils feature in this anime?
Are angels and devils related to the song in any way?
Does the anime feature a character with a split personality or a "dark" form?
