Well, you said "fiction with science as an important element" and not "science fiction", so for all I know you could've been referring to Full Metal Alchemist, for a certain value of "science".

Difficult question, but it definitely is more science fiction than FMA. It is about real science (or as much real as it usualy is)

If you looked on list you would notice it weren't aired after 2007, and you would be able quite accurately estimate date of airing.
