The funny thing is, when I came up with the previous round, I didn't expect it to last that long. Then again, since I was in a rush to make up a round...

I've been seriously off my game lately. Haven't had much luck in the way of inspiration.
You already passed me in terms of wins * 33 to 30 . Your off game isn't very different from your A-game.
does the hint pertain to the song? Yes
does the anime have a female MC? I can hardly remember what I saw of this anime, but the relevant pages seem to point towards a male lead.
does the anime have a tvtropes page? Yes
Is the anime completely hand-drawn? I would be very surprised if it is, so I will answer no.

Is it an adaptation? Of a manga? Yes, no
Wow, I wasn't even sure if you would've answered the hand-drawn question.
Is it an adaptation of a light novel? Visual novel? Video game?
Well, that answer still gives over 10 years worth of anime to sift through, so it only makes it slightly easier.
light novel? Visual novel? Video game? No, no and no.

Is it an adaptation of a NON light novel, such as Welcome to the NHK?
I can hardly remember what I saw of this anime, but the relevant pages seem to point towards a male lead.
It's either old or you never watched it passed the first episode or you never did and just heard about it.
x7: I don't know. I mean, I've run out of inspiration for hints, and I've been resorting to brute force more and more often...
But hey, I'm not here to piss and moan, right?

Hmm... is it an adaptation of a board game? Of a card game? Yes, no.
Does it have Serious Business? No
Is it an adaptation of a NON light novel, such as Welcome to the NHK? No
It's either old or you never watched it passed the first episode or you never did and just heard about it. I actually watched four episodes, but I watched that was almost 4 years ago, so I naturqally forgot most of the finer details. Plus, I remember the female lead more, for whatever reason.
Is the anime of Gonzo? No
Is it based on a line of toys? No
Is it based on a work of Western origin? (Literature, live-action, comics, anything.) No

WE GOT AN AIR DATE! never expected that... No you haven't. I watched Rose Of Versailles this year, and some of Legend Of The Galactic Heroes a year or two back. That statement means nothing.
Yu-gi-oh? Bakugan? is the anime porn? No (Yu Gi Oh originated as a manga, didn't it?), no ,no
Are tabletop games and gamebooks included in your definition of board games? Yes
Is it from Record of Lodoss War No
Is it Adesso et Fortuna? No
Yu-Gi-Oh! originated as a manga, didn't it?
Wasn't it a card game?<====Unrelated question... DO NOT INCLUDE AS IN-GAME QUESTION AND ANSWER SEPARATELY...
Actually, Yu Gi Oh started off as a manga. The card game that developed eventually eclipsed all the other games.

Is it Queen's Gate? No
