Adeleine Guest Star Spoilers: Adeleine's final boss music has Ripple Star Map in it too. The composers really love that one for some reason.

Speaking of which, I delayed landing the final blow on Morpho Knight long enough to listen to the whole track, causing me to discover something I've never seen before: Morpho Knight has a fucking tornado attack! Why would they put that in so late in his attack pattern that most players will deplete his health long before they have a chance to see it?

Yeah, listening to it again in the sound test, it's a really fucking awesome medley. They even made the Ripple Star Map part sound climactic and intense instead of cheery. I know it's a long shot given the timeframe, but I hope it gets into Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as a music track. Wouldn't need to be remixed or anything, just ported straight in.

I've seen Morpho's tornado a few times in Soul Melter; bear in mind I play it with no CPU allies, so it lasts longer than normal.

Speaking of, I'm gonna stream Soul Melter with one of the three new Dream Friends this Saturday at 8 PM EST, if anyone wants to watch. It'll probably be Ado, but I'm open to suggestions if DMK or Daroach are popular enough.

Unrelated to Adeleine or Guest Star, DMK's story mode pause description suggests his reason for teaming up with Kirby is that he might want the power of the dark hearts for himself, and is just playing along for now.

I'm using Dark Meta Knight now, and it doesn't really suggest that. Either you're reading into it harder than I am, or there are multiple context-sensitive pause descriptions for each character, and I'm very upset that I didn't know that and now I have to check everything over again to find them.

There's two pause descriptions. One for the regular story (can be accessed by just riding piggyback on them) and one for Guest Star.

I was looking at the former.

So THAT'S why I'm a little confused over those descriptions. The Kirby wiki only documents one for each.

I wonder where else I can see it?

I just finished up my of Rick, Coo, and Kine's Guest Star run. It lloks like the changes for the arena brought in with the new update apply to older Dream Friends as well. Actually, I think they may of added new stages for the older Dream friends as well, but don't quote me on that...

I swear, with each new update we're getting closer to having a new bonus boss added to the game.

Huh. I just noticed that Daroach has the Rayman limbs going on.

I think they might give the Three Mages a new final boss.

After seeing DMK drawing in that photo I'm imagining that, even though he's evil and has his own goals, even he isn't immune to Adeline's optimism.

By the way, do we finally have confirmation that adeline and ado are the same person?

See, I didn't even know you could get descriptions from Friends by piggybacking on them.

Adeleine and Ado have been confirmed to be the same person for a while now... It was established in a book made for Kirby's 20th anniversary.

Also regarding Ado/Adeleine, one of Adeleine's attacks here uses the name Ado. I forget which, though.

Sorry, I'm just tired of people using an alternate continuity to justify they're kirby theories that take place in the game-verse (henceforth known as the Void-Verse wheras the anime verse is known as the Nightmare-verse. Because I came up with those names right now.)

Sakurai still overaw the anime and elements from it pop up in the games. Hell, the anime version of Naightmare was used for the remake of Kirby's adventure, after all.

Aw, I liked the anime! It and Melee were what introduced me to Kirby!
