It was. It might still be.
Oh right. I remember now. It was there.
One Strip! One Strip!I think the movies were removed from Netflix at some point, because of reasons. The site formerly known as animeonnetflix.com says it only has the series (in the US, may be different elsewhere).
Am looking at US Netflix right now, can confirm only the tv series is on at the moment.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyThe movies are on DVD, though I don't know how expensive they are.
The Protomen enhanced my life.If you've seen the show, the only movie that matters is Rebellion. The other two are recaps of the show's plot.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Is it on Crunchyroll?
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Looked it up. It's no longer streaming anywhere. Legally.
Welp, watching that movie ain't happening today. Or this month, honestly.
So what was this "supplemental material" and "manga" I've caught wind of here? I might take a look at that.

Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position. There's a lot of manga. There are manga adaptations of both the original TV series and of the Rebellion movie. As for the rest of the spin-off manga (side-not: none of these particularly long, each being 3 to 5 volumes)
Oriko Magica takes place in a previous time loop that goes a lot differently than usual because of the introduction of some new characters. It has a sequel called Sadness Prayer.
Madoka Magica The Different Story covers Kyouko's backstory in-depth and how she met Mami, then covers a what-if/previous time loop in which Mami survived past the fight with Charlotte.
Madoka Magica Wraith Arc is an interquel between the original series and Rebellion, taking place in the new world we briefly see at the the end of the series.
Kazumi Magica and Suzune Magica are both manga that follow other groups of magical girls in other cities.
Tart Magica is the story of Joan of Arc as a magical girl.
And there's also a bunch of gag manga that I won't list every one of. There's also some video games, mainly there's an RPG on the PSP, and there's a mobile gacha game called Magic Record that they plan to make anime and manga adaptations of.
Madoka Magica The Different Story, Madoka Magica Wraith Arc, Kazumi Magica and Suzune Magica. I'll take a look at those in that order
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Taking a look at Madoka Magica The Different Story right now, in the second chapter.
I was wondering why Kyoko seemed so pleasant now and then I got to Kyoko bringing Mami to her family.
The moment I realized it, I groaned "Oh, no". That moment's going to be in here, isn't it?

Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Witches
Mami: Candeloro, the dressing-up witch
Kyouko: Ophelia, the wudan witch
Homura: Homulilly, the nutcracker witch
Actually, anime-timeline Homulilly is classified as the Witch of the Mortal World. The Nutcracker Witch is in Rebellion
Fight for something, even if its meaningless. So for Magia Record players, what are your thoughts on See You Tomorrow and its cast? (though I think Uninstall already mentioned Mito before)
Seika and Reira's circumstance in the story is understandable, and Seika is sympathetic in her conflict. However, how much you buy their plot is depending on how much you like the girls, and Reira is really boring. Then again, having no agency of her own is basically her thing.
Mito, on the other hand, basically carries the event, and the future events later on.
Mito is an adorable cinnamon roll whose :3 must be protected.
Reira's outfit is dumb
Seika is a good girl cursed with Resting Bitch Face. She's definitely caught in a bad situation, also I really like her meguca outfit.
Strangely enough I don't really get yuri vibes from these three.
Fight for something, even if its meaningless.Idle thought: was anybody creeped by Homura and Madoka's last moments being entirely naked?
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Sorry for the double-post but if the above question isn't one you want to talk about, here's a better one: how did everybody get into the show?
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.: Rule of thumb: Anime. Is. Weird.
I think I found out about it by accident, when I randomly looked up the "Break the Cutie" trope one day and the page image had Madoka go through the stages of joy, dismay, and depression.
I found the show's page shortly thereafter and I went and spoiled myself silly because I was not prepared for unprepared emotional trauma. After the review from JesuOtaku, I just sort of bit the bullet and watched the series through totally legitimate methods.
I don't regret watching it.
That said, thinking back, a lot of stuff was off. Like the head-tilts, Homura's aloofness, Hitomi's passive threatening towards Sayaka, Kyoko's initial bully-like nature, random stuff that I thought about like where were Sayaka and Homura's parents, and stuff I thought of just now, like did Kyōko have some kind of bed?
As I said: anime. Is. Weird. And PMMM is perhaps among the weirdest.
And speaking of that movie, I saw it while it was on Netflix (already knowing what happened) and...I was still pretty flabbergasted.
Like, I think if I was a hardcore fan of PMMM and didn't read the spoilers, I'd probably be as catatonic as I was when I saw the end of Avengers: Infinity War. And that struck me SO hard.
So yeah, probably for the best that you didn't watch the Rebellion movie just yet.
You will not be ready.

On Homura's parents I've seen a couple discussions where people talk about how Homura is coded as an orphan having grown up in a (likely bad) orphanage.
I suppose that makes some sense, but I guess it would've helped if it was made more apparent in the actual show?
@Ala Alba Huh, you're right. Mito does carry the event.
Oh, and side stuff show how Kyoko uses magic to steal money and break into hotels and stuff to get by.
....I'm not sure. Haven't been on Netflix in a long time.
If so, give it a look.
One Strip! One Strip!
