Between Lucina reusing voice clips and Lucario and Cloud very likely doing the same, I kind of wonder why they even bothered changing Marth's and Ike's voices.

Because of recent development regarding their characters?

If this game didn't have 70+ characters we probably wouldn't have weird disparities like that.

I'm not complaining about the character count, but if the number was smaller they could of afforded more quality of life changes overall.

Because Lucario and Lucina already had English VA, and the idea of Fire Emblem being specifically Japanese is old and dead by this point. Unless we're talking TMS.

Cloud is Square being difficult.

Why share this here? Apparently the leak got proven real today and claims Dante is coming to Smash.

So it doesn't count if 4chan is not directly posted?

The difference between this and what you post is that there's some actual credence to it, even if I refuse to believe Dante will be in Smash.

Juno and Vela confirmed for smash.

Yukimura Sanada confirmed for smash.

Skullomania confirmed for smash.

Hat Girl confirmed for smash.

I joke, but the fact that Bayonetta's in this game series is still the most ridiculously awesome thing for me.

Taking a "wait and see" approach as usual, but if this is true, I'll be pleasantly surprised. Dante would be one of my personal picks for a third Capcom character, but his chances are about the same as Cloud's due to only a few appearances in games on Nintendo consoles (Dante was in the Project X Zone games on 3DS, but that's about it, I think).

Saints Row: The Third is being ported to the Switch. Therefore, Johnny Gat confirmed for Smash.

x3 I'm still mad that we aren't in the universe where Rare never left Nintendo and Banjo, Juno, Fulgore and Joanna Dark all eventually made it into Smash.

Plus Dinosaur Planet wouldn't have become a Star Fox game and we'd all be forced to acknowledge it was actually good.

Just don't post stuff you found on 4chan unless there's some veracity to it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there's any proof the DMCV trailer leaker and the Dante in Smash leaker are the same person?

They can still get a chance with Nintendo and Microsoft's current terms.

x2 When I asked that on Reset ERA I was told the posts were made a minute apart (4chan has a minute buffer between posts), and too lengthy to be some random finding the thread and dropping it off.

I don't believe it because Dante already having a trailer ready to go is weird that was shown off is weird, especially if this is the only thing this guy knows but was unable to confirm, say, that Ken will be in.

Huh, okay. Not really feeling it, if true. This Smash news cycle has made me realize I don't care that much about most of the super popular character choices.

With K. Rool and Ridley as a precedent and supposedly popularity determining who is joining the base roster, it's a pleasant surprise if Dante actually happens.

Meaning, outside of a Ken Echo, that Capcom is the first third party to get more than two reps. Currently Konamia is in that position with two reps and an echo of one

If true, I can almost guarantee it'll turn into Smash 4 Bayo 2nd Gig.

I don't believe "leaks" that have detailed descriptions of trailers.

Besides, Dante's connection to Nintendo is tenuous at best (AFAIK, pretty much just Project X Zone) and he doesn't get the Cloud pass. I know it's not a requirement but it's hard to believe regardless.
