Hi guys I was curious if there's a "Bart's Blue Shirt" or "Donald's Black Shirt" trope where a character has the appearance changed for marketing as a sort of seal of quality (the legit Simpsons merchandise almost always has Bart in a blue shirt as imitators will have him wearing the classic orange shirt and it might be a coincidence but Donald Duck has a black shirt in his comics).
Is that a trope?
