I was gonna update this but yeah, with evo online sg is back in the limelight~ And with a new character coming ro mobile later this year things are starting to really look up

Koefficient, a prominent Blazblue/BBCTB content creator has decided to pick up skullgirls and create some content for it. Seems the Evo pick really is sparking reintrest in a lot of people.

So results for EVO Online are in, and Skullgirls has the most entrants in NA, Europe, and Japan!

Yeah.... that was unfortunate.

For context: EVO is officially cancelled due to allegations concerning Mr.Wiz.

I guess his CORE VALUES failed him in the end.

I saw a comment describe this whole situation as a Monkey Paw Wish, and boy does that feel accurate.

This game's development cycle confuses the heck out of me.

, The mobile game generates enough revenue to create more characters, which is most of the busy work to make 2e characters. So as long as the Mobile game makes enough, more characters can be added. The reason it took this long to start is because they wanted every original 2e character in mobile first, as well as to test if they had enough profit to make new ones happen.

Short answer: as long as the mobile game thrives, 2e can be updated as well.

I was very reluctant to try the mobile game because I'm already playing 2 gacha games. I should've known that would be the case.

Would anyone recommend it?

Some are the best players in the rankings are F 2 P, so there's never a time where you feel gatekept by money.the game gives you plenty of resources in game for free, and of thr gsvhas i played, i spent the least on this one snd am still wothin the top 200

tl;dr- People at Lab Zero are starting to quit because Mike Z won’t leave the company.

I heard Mike Z was a pretty overbearing git, yeah. But this is still pretty sucky.

Yeah i just got the news; you think you know somebody and then wham...

Of course the community is hurt but still supporting one another through it all.

As much as the back of my mind wishes someone would literally kick Mike's butt, the ideal path is probably to fight back without violence.

And how does a king rule over his people when his people just up and leave him? Employees just quitting Lab Zero sounds like the kind of attack that hits where it would hurt: in the wallet.

^note (I mean, Mike could probably rope in new people to rule over, but I'll bet they'll be less than willing to if stories like that brave soul's spread around properly.)
