Big The Cat is neutral

Someone screamed for a mod, back on the first page.

Well, one is here now,and I have this to say:

Knock off the meta-commentary on who made the thread, what the thread is about, whether you "knew who made the thread before you even clicked on it", or whether the thread is trolling or not.

If a thread doesn't interest you, don't post in it. We have a perfectly workable way to get rid of threads that no one is interested in; it's called "attrition". If no one posts in it, it falls off the front page. Then it falls off the second page. And so on. The threads that you keep posting in are the ones that stay at the top of the list, which means that posting to talk about how awful the thread is keeps it alive.

If it's getting ugly, hit the holler button.

But "I think this is a stupid topic" does not make it trolling, and it isn't, by itself, a reason to lock a thread.

Who made a thread is also, not, by itself, enough reason to lock it.

I understand what you're saying, Madrugada...and taken on its own, I guess this thread isn't too bad, if a little barebones and lacking in any sort of explanation. I think it's just...after how weird the "I feel sorry for Rouge" thread got and seeing the OP in the light we do now, it's a little tiresome to see the weirdness continue.

That said, I'll stop contributing to the problem and will stop posting in these threads from now on.

HOW DO YOU GET YOUR POST "thumped" ?

For the record my first post was contributing to the thread about Big the Cat being neutral. I thought it was kind of obvious that he was neutral. He doesn't really help out Sonic and his friends that much.
