Well...it was Junpei's fault. :I

What's that sticking out of your back? *Clover runs away* Oh, well. Probably wasn't important. *Clover asks to split up after suspicious behavior earlier* Sounds reasonable. *Clover says she murdered everyone* COMPLETELY UNFORESEEABLE.

Last night I had a dream that I was in the Nonary Game.

I don't know what bracelet I had or if Junpei was still there (or if I was Junpei), though.

Apparently, the only person I trusted was Lotus...which is the complete opposite of how I felt playing the game for the first time. >_>

Also, my dream skipped forward at two points: once to me talking with Clover about something, and again to me being chased by Ace.

But I woke up before I died. :D

Lotus is very trustworthy, you can always trust someone who raised such lovely twins. Plus she's a mom!...yes, I just made an old cheap crack about her rack. Sue me.

[up]surprised

To go into more detail about my dream (or at least the parts I remember):

For some reason, we weren't on the ship and each had cars (I assume we were still trapped somewhere). I ended up riding with Lotus and we discussed possible suspects for who could be Zero. I made a suggestion, though I can't remember who I said. I think it was a guy, though. Anywho, we pretty much agreed to trust each other to a certain extent (since neither of us were sure other wasn't Zero), and not to talk to anyone else about what we discussed.

Clover's part was short. I was apparently lost in thought about something and she came up to try to get my attention. But I was still zoned out, so she called even louder. When I finally noticed her, she was making that ":|" face that she does.

As for the Ace part, I just remember running down a hallway while he was chasing after me.

Got the true ending last night (well, technically at 4:30 this morning). Calling it an "ending" seems weird; that was 80% of the plot!

The True Ending is pretty much a new game entirely. xD

FFFF.

So I decided to start my second playthrough. I decided I would just go through all the opposite doors—so I went through Door 5 last time, so I decided to go through Door 4 this time.

Then Lotus told her story about the picture of the dog and there's an obvious call-forward to something I remember from my last playthrough Seven's story about the industrial detergent. GAH. I am now strongly tempted to do that door again to see if this affects the story, because I feel certain that Junpei will draw connections (since I certainly have). GUH. To stick with my idea for this playthrough, or not...? Yearg!

DOUBLE FFFFFFFF

I decided to stick with my "Akane-focused" playthrough and thus forced my way through Door 3. But since I saved right before choosing, I figured I'd just play through until I got to the end of this route and go back to do the others, right?

...I am now stuck hopelessly on a puzzle behind said door and have no idea how to move forward. ARRRG. I have no idea what to do with the stupid equation. I think it might be scrambled, but I'm not sure, since even exiting and entering the password screen repeatedly (which usually prompts your companions to make a few "This is how to solve this, knucklehead" comments) gets nothing. GRARG.

You know, posting unspoilered, er, spoilers and solutions isn't very nice. Just because I wanted to express my frustration doesn't mean I want to be told the answer, nor does it necessarily necessitate posting an unspoilered walkthrough of the entire room.

Got the Submarine ending. A bit ticked off I can't just go back to my last save from there, but I suppose I can always blaze through those two rooms again. I figure I'll do the room I did this time, then the room that I noticed stuff in last time...

Remember what it says in the first post, is all: "Spoiler tags or else!"

Speaking of things near the beginning of the topic: I remember someone grumbling that there was no reason for Lotus to be dressed like she was. Am I seriously the only person who thought, upon hearing her backstory: Single Mom Stripper?

[up]That's not how you code spoilers in this place, in case you noticed. You do that with "[[", then "spoiler:", then whatever you wanna spoiler and close it with "]"x2.

Nice to see more people enjoying the game! Spread the love~

Freezair, that was the only puzzle I actually had to look at a guide to solve. And I felt stupid when I finally got it.

What puzzle was that? The vague description given didn't trigger my recollection.

The only puzzle I had to look up was the one in the very first room. Apparently I didn't search thoroughly enough and missed one of the clues. The most annoying puzzle though would be the brain-scan thing in door... 2 I think? Given who was with me at the time I think it has to be 2.

I actually kinda liked that puzzle. Once you thought about it, it was basically just a sequence puzzle, about figuring out what order to activate the things in. Sorry for screwing around in your brain, Lotus!

As for which puzzle I was talking about, it's in Door 3... You recieve a series of 3-digit numbers, each one pared with an arithmatic symbol; two have plusses and one has an equals sign. The door in the room needs a 4-digit code to open. Because of the way the numbers were written, I assumed that the number paired with the equals sign was supposed to be a solution of some kind. Since it obviously wasn't the sum of the other two numbers, I figured you had to be-jigger it somehow... But no, you just add all three.

And the puzzle in Room 1 (slash 5)? I missed the second clue too (it's hidden in kind of a weird spot), so I just brute-forced the other two numbers for each suitcase.

[up] Personally, I thought digital roots were involved in that one, and I was really beating myself up over it. When I finally looked up the answer...I was kinda pissed tbh. But I got over it

[up] That's the solution that occured to me after my initial idea failed, but that was obviously not it either.

The fact that the solution would've only been three digits long didn't bother me, as the lock in the kitchen had room for three digits but only required a two-digit answer.

Incidentally, does anyone else think it's a bit dumb that you can't access your calculator in escape segments? But that's the time I need it most!

Wait, how do you wind up going through door 3? I've gotten every possible ending, and I didn't even realize the game would let you.

[up]Harass Santa about going through Door 3 or go through Door 2.

~~~
Last night, I had a dream that I was talking to June. surprised
(True Ending Spoilers)
I went to a playground, looking for anything that would trace to a location where Junpei could see her. Somehow she managed to sneak up on me and we started talking about why she didn't want to be seen and stuff.
Then we talked about other things and eventually she turned around and phased through the gate...even though she had drove to the playground in a car. o_O
don't you just hit the X button or something? Unless you mean when trying to unlock doors, i dont think it lets you use it then (which IS annoying)
