I've found that certain songs are perfect for a relaxing walk outside.

Songs like:

  • Dizzy - Jimmy Eat World,
  • Dream To Live - Great Big Sea,
  • Lost Highway - Bon Jovi,
  • Lost In The Sun - Hinder,
  • The Minstrel's Prayer - Cartel,
  • Scenic Route - Jars Of Clay,
  • Girlfriend/Here's To The Night - Eve 6,
  • Shadows and Regrets - Yellowcard,
  • Your Song - Elton John, and
  • The Investigation - Sugarcult.

Does anyone else think of anything else that would be appropriate?

Anything by Nujabes or Kyuss works for me.

I find that Vampire Weekend's summery pop is good music for doing just about anything relaxing.

If you’re out for a long jaunt, here’s a good song to listen to. Hope you like lots of piano playing!

Godspeed You! Black Emperor - The Dead Flag Blues

No other song works so well with urban decay.

Walking? Well, pretty much everything I listen to, really. Something epic sounding is cool, makes you feel like a boss walking down the street, haha! Stream of Conciousness by Dream Theater is a good one, though I have to fight the urge to start skipping some dance steps while listening to it.

Now if it were rollerskating, I would recommend Buckethead. For some reason most of his songs make me keep my ballance better when I skate. Must be the beat.

"Valentine" by Justice It has a bouncy beat that go with my step, so it's a good song to listen to on my way to class! But don't take my word for it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mX3hPSXwudU
