Or they're just packing up and moving away from the more aggressive forest god. All the kids are by the shore for easy pickup except for the magical/forest ones they aren't planning to take with them.

I'm disappointed in this development tbh. Seems Tom will drag this conflict for some time.
Also, if I'm reading the proportions in that overhead panel right, rather than Zimmy being really short, Gamma is the one that's really tall.
