We don't know the circumstances, since the spoiler is so bare bones, but maybe, just maybe, Kyuubi might be using Kushina to create hatred in Naruto's heart; She will something like how she was mistreated by the village, or killed or something or the other, and that will cause Naruto's resolve to waiver.
However, give the Kishi formula, it is much more likely she will just be there to give a "You Can Do It!!" speech

^ Yeah, I know, and I don't blame you, but some people probably want to avoid spoilers until chapter is out, and I'm pretty sure there's a rule as far as the big three threads go for spoiler and such, and posting things like that (even if it was actually just tangentially connected to the chapter) without a spoiler tag is a no-no.

Re: Kushina— I always assumed she died during childbirth for some reason. Didn't Naruto look a little larger than an average baby, or is that just me thinking that?

I consider Naruto to be ignorant, not stupid. From what we've seen, he pretty much raised himself and never had anyone to talk to on a regular basis, especially on ninja matters.

^Yes, he's not very knowledgeable, but he is fairly inventive and good at solving.
And I'm not sure what this means either. Maybe she had to go into the seal as well (thus explaining what happened to her), maybe this all this crazy shit recovered some very deeply forgotten memories, but I'm pretty sure it's not a trick by the Nine-Tails because it's certainly not helping him.

He was in Sage Mode, plus he is inside of his own mind, so this is all probably just a graphic representation of a "struggle of wills". I doubt this actions are physically happening..
