• Visual Effects of Awesome: The shots of a snow-covered Thunderbird 2 circling and landing on the summit of Mount Arkham are particularly gorgeous.

• Special Effects Failure:That being said the shots of the sun are rather poor and consist of a burning "grey" ball with a few flames coming from it. A noticeable misstep by a normally wonderful series... Oddly enough other shots just use the simple standby of filming a lamp, so one wonders why they bothered making the model in the first place?
