• Alternate Character Interpretation: Several for Becky:
  • Did Becky suddenly remember all the insulting things that Kevin had said about everybody while they were dating and immediately goes out of her way to tell them all (except Winnie), or did she decide to wait for an inopportune moment, like when Kevin is taking care of Winnie while she's sick, to tell everybody else, just to make Kevin worry that she'll tell Winnie and ruin his chances with her, even if she wouldn't tell her out of their friendship (despite still telling other people who would tell her)?
  • When telling other people about what Kevin said about Winnie, did she think they would not tell her, did she not really care whether they told her, or is it a case where she would not want to hurt her friend's feelings but would be okay if somebody else did?
  • Did Becky decide all along not to tell Winnie, or was she going to tell Winnie what Kevin said to her, before her conscience got the better of her (perhaps during the visit, after her talk with Kevin)? Considering she not only told each person what Kevin had said about them, but also what he'd said about Winnie, did she tell them with the intention to tell Winnie as well only to decide against it by the time she got to visit Winnie?
  • Did Becky manage to tell everybody at the school what Kevin had said about them by the end of the school day, or did she tell some people what Kevin said about them while also telling them what he said about others, so that they'd tell others and word would get around to everyone faster? Considering she told classmates what Kevin said about Winnie, and told Winnie what he said about the others, it's possible.
  • Was Winnie simply as mad as she was because of what Kevin said about her, or is she more upset due to the fact that Kevin didn't confess on his own? If Kevin had confessed to her when Winnie was mad about what Kevin said about their friends (and perhaps even when she said she'd be mad if he said that stuff about her), while she'd likely still be as mad as the other students are, she might not have given Kevin the worst reaction for it.
