• Moral Event Horizon: Giving Madi the Flame is treated as this. Indra feels the ends justify the means, while Gaia absolutely doesn't and Bellamy sees it as a necessary evil. But it's clear that considering it is bad enough, actually going through with it—even with Madi's compliance and understanding—is something they can't come back from. Madi even bluntly tells Bellamy that if she takes the Flame, Clarke will never forgive him for it.
