- Accidental Aesop: Considering what happens to Kelly and Kara in this episode, the writers' message seems to be: don't trust or try to help the people you like or love, because they will manipulate and betray you. Granted, in Kelly's case it was someone posing as her friend. Then again, for Kara it seems more like "Don't let your friends talk you into doing things you know are wrong."
