  • Did the Vulcan captain reassign T'Lyn because he thought she was a liability, or because he thought her intuition would be better put to use with humans?
• Epileptic Trees: T'Lyn's action in this episode has had some fans suggesting she isn't a Vulcan but instead a Romulan or a Romulo-Vulcan or part-Human.
  • There is speculation the Vulcan captain is her father.
  • Or that she is Spock's child from his marriage mentioned in "Sarek" (which would make her, depending on the identity of "Mrs. Spock", as little as one-quarter Vulcan).
