• Fridge Brilliance: If the Orion women's pheromones are supposed to adversely affect other women to eliminate competition, why don't they give each other headaches? The Orion "captain" mentions at one point early on that all three women are sisters, so presumably close relatives are immune.
• Strawman Has a Point: While Kelby's accusations that Tucker intends to steal his position are meant to paint him as a petty and belligerent Jerkass, which is exacerbated by the effects of the Orion women, we find out at the end of the episode that Kelby's accusations were exactly right, and Tucker had in fact asked for his old job back before the episode even started.
