Accidental Aesop: Prison rehab is a much better way of reforming prisoners than corporal punishment. The prisoners only seemed to have a change of heart once SpongeBob provided them luxury and compassion, whereas when Mr. Krabs was attempting to keep them miserable per the orders of the warden hiring him to keep them locked up, they were just as bitter and resentful as they were during their days of crime.
