• The Un-Twist: Brandon Sanderson admits himself in the afterword that pretty much everyone can see the reveal that the protagonists are themselves dupes coming from miles away. That's why there's a second twist, namely that Davis is planning on killing Chaz, which people will hopefully not expect because they're too focused on the obvious one.
